Decent quality for the price
Pros:+ Comes with everything you'll need to install it (except for a drill/driver). It even comes with a masonry drill bit and concrete anchors to install it on a concrete base. Even includes a level and sharpened pencil. I was surprised to see all of this included in the box.+ Very well packaged, no damage+ Seems sturdy enough. Solid cast iron would obviously be sturdier but also much, much more expensive.+ The paint/coating on the external appears to be high quality as well+ Fit and finish is better than I expected. No unnecessary gaps, all hardware color matches+ Price is competitive+ Super simple to assemble (install is another story - see Cons)Cons:+ Insufficient instructions for a concrete install. Unless you are familiar with installing hardware directly to concrete you may need to do your own research. The only documentation/videos that exist only show how to install over wood. Installing on concrete is much more complicated and time consuming.I would recommend this product if you are looking for an attractive, reasonably sturdy railing. If you are deeply concerned about safety I'd recommend looking at cast iron but expect to pay 3-4 times more money. This railing works great for me, I'm very happy with the purchase.

I'm buying another one.
This is a very cost effective, study, supposedly USA made railing. Nothing fancy here, just functionality. This comes with EVERYTHING you need to install except a drill and hammer and wrench. I installed into cement stairs. Pros: Sturdy, simple, easy to assemble, good instructions, all needed bolts for wood or masonry, drill bits for wood and masonry, ruler, pencil/depth gauge, etc. Cons: the drill bit for masonry, while included, is poor quality. I resorted to one of my Milwaukee masonry bits in 5/16 and it made drilling much more efficient and quick. I found the instructions for depth of hole in masonry short. I think you can go 2.75 inches, not 2.5. I had to cut my bolts down after even though I followed the drill depth as instructed. Don't follow the tip for putting nuts on the bolts when you hammer into cement, that just messed up the nuts and threads. The bolts are designed to take hammer whacks without peening over and if you drill proper hole size and depth you'll be fine That's my experience. Lesson learned: take your time, mark your holes BUT, decide which post you will put in first, drill those holes and mount your first upright, then reassemble and check your hole markings for last upright. I'll bet you will need to adjust hole markings to keep railings snug and tight on last upright. All in all I am buying at least one more, maybe two. Seems like a good company and a good product. Time will tell.

These rails are great and install was smooth!
This best thing about these rails, besides their looks, is they come with EVERYTHING you need to install them except the drill. The video showing you how to measure was invaluable and the other install videos were incredibly helpful as well. We ordered two 6 steppers and a three stepper. We didn’t end up needing the three stepper so we will be returning it. The one additional thing we had to buy separately was a better drill bit for concrete. Make you have a hammer drill and a heavy duty concrete bit for install in concrete. If you are installing these rails on wood, you need nothing extra. It takes 2 people to measure and mark the holes but the rest can be done by one person (although two is helpful). Follow the instructions/videos as they really do help. We did these in the dark and cold (no snow thankfully). The rails are incredibly solid and strong and really look great on our front steps!

Ordered 2 rails
Very good quality product and easy to assemble. I would strongly recommend Red Head anchor bolts and if you don’t have a hammer drill to rent one from your local home improvement to make the install seamless. Looks great! Why only 4 stars, I ordered 2 kits and the center rail was different lenghts. I didn’t have time to replace so I cut the one to make the match. I would still get this product again. Very sturdy, solid material and it looked very nice once installed.

before you rip the plastic off parts there are some directions as to what part goes top or bottom
I purchased to install for my elderly friend with a 8" step down. Easy install, every part needed for the install included, very sturdy. we installed the brown/bronze dark color. Will buy again. Oh forgot this was for inside, looks amazing

Great railing kit
We wanted a small 3 step railing for new side porch but I didn’t really want to add additional 4x4 posts anchored into the treads for something that was so small. Found this product on Amazon and it looked like it was the perfect solution. Only took 15 minutes to install and looks very nice and is steady solid. Came with a great hardware kit for either anchoring into concrete or lagging into treads. Included concrete drill bit, wood drill bit, screw bit, lag bit, 6” bit extension, small ruler, short bubble level and they even threw in a pencil to mark holes. The finish is a good heavy black powder coating. If I had any complaints it would be that the base covers are just cheap two-piece plastic that comes apart easily if you bump your toe into them. They should be made of the same powder coated metal. All in all it’s a great little railing kit.

Great product with everything you need
I usually don't take the time to write Amazon reviews, but I was so impressed with this product that I had to submit a review. As our parents and family have gotten older, we realized that we needed a railing on the steps from our garage into our house that had none. I like the fact that this product has several options depending on the number of steps that you have and that there were clear directions on how to measure to determine which product to buy. I was really impresses that the kit included everything that you need to install the railing including - masonry drill bit, ruler, level, and even a pencil to mark the holes that also functioned as a depth gauge for the holes. The directions were very clear and easy to understand. The instructions did not specify that you needed a hammer drill to drill the holes in concrete, but I saw this in one of the posted videos and it made installation much faster. The railing is very sturdy and looks very professional.
