Easy assembly, sturdy install.
I bought two of these units to install on the stairs in my garage to the upstairs loft. It has a 90 degree turn, so these two made it just about perfect. They assemble very easily with the tools supplied with it. You will need either a hammer drill to install on concrete. I installed mine on 2" thick wooden stairs and they are solid. Four screws per post and look good. The anchor screws for wood and the concrete anchors are included. A good product and value.

It worked
I liked that it was easy to assemble but not so easy to install in concrete. The concrete lag bolts were very cheap. No drill bit size was given to drill into concrete. I had to go online to find that out. Even with the correct hole size the lag bolts had to be hammered into the drilled hole and it would bend or dis form the threaded bolt. There was no mention of how deep to drill the holes and very difficult to remove from hole once installed if not deep enough. I would still buy one again but would go to a hardware store and purchase a 3/8” redhead lag bolt and also the lag bolt install tool so as not to deform threaded portion of the lag bolt. When you buy a redhead lag bolt the drill bit size for the hole and its depth is shown on packaging. Also the rail is a painted rail and not powder coated. It scratches very easily. Ours tipped over on to concrete while installing and got severely scratched. We used a black touch up paint marker to cover up the scratches. It looked nice and felt sturdy once installed.

Very substantial
UPDATE IN MAY - BOUGHT 2 MORE VIVOSUN 5' RAILINGS AND INSTALLED THEM IN LESS THAN AN HOUR (82-year old female with tools provided and my own electric drill). FIRST 3 REVIEWED BELOW WERE IN APRIL 2025. ALL LEGS SCREWED INTO WOOD DECKING, NOT CONCRETE. WITH 4 SCREWS IN WOOD IN EACH LEG, THEY ARE VERY STURDY. THERE IS A SLIGHT SIDEWAYS WOBBLE, BUT NOT ANYTHING TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT. RECOMMEND VIVOSUN RAILINGS. --- April 2025- Bought 3 of these Vivosun rails in different lengths to surround my husband's outside ramps. They are sturdy, and easy to assemble (although I forgot to put the caps over the "feet" before I screwed the first one down). They came via USPS (not UPS), so had to make a special trip into town to the post office to get them. There were some scratches on a couple of the rails, but nothing major that I can't touch up with black matte paint. I do have 2 things to mention and hope the person who monitors the Amazon description notes: (1) there is no mention of the size of the top hand rail (i.e., 1"x2") because I wanted to screw one end to the outside wall for more side strength, but couldn't order the wall attachment hardware until I knew what the size of the rails were; and (2) there is no mention of the "overhang" of the top rail when it is attached to the legs. This also would have helped in deciding where to screw in the legs to the deck because I am using 2 sections on one side of the ramp for stability. I bought a 4-step section, and a 2-step section, so there are a total of 4 legs screwed down to the wooden deck on one side of the ramp. The 3rd rails (a 3-step section) will go on the other side of the ramp (shorter because of a screen door opening). I didn't think one long section would be as sturdy as 2 shorter sections with more legs screwed down. Possibly, if I had concrete, it would be been better, but my application only has a wooden deck. All hardware included for wood or concrete, as well as Allen wrenches. No drill bits, though, for screwing the legs down.

Good quality, exactly as described.
Love the handrail. Just what I needed. Exactly as described. My son installed it with easy installation.

Stable and not hard to install.
It's quite sturdy and it was not hard to install once I bought an impact drill. I fastened it directly on concrete and it is very stable. Without the drill it would have been much more difficult

Installation is difficult on concrete.
The media could not be loaded. For starts, don’t even use the anchor bolts, they are cheap and will disintegrate. Total crap and very frustrating. Took me two tries to scrap them. A good one is only $1.50 and you need eight, why they don’t just upgrade them is odd.And the base plate holes are only large enough for the bolts and leave no clearance. Drilling in concrete exactly on center (8 holes) is nearly impossible. I had to ream out the four holes on the bottom plate to make them bigger. To avoid that on the top plate I drilled 3/16” holes in the concrete instead of the 5/16” for their cheap lag bolts and used concrete tap screws with hex heads which gave me a bit of slack which was needed. And they painted the diagonal rail Allen screws so you really can’t tighten the rails very well, also because they include cheap Allen wrenches. You certainly can’t install this into concrete steps with the hardware and tools included. I suspect on a set of wood stairs would be different. With said, after two trips for different hardware and using my own tools it’s pretty sturdy and it worked for the angle of our steps. But was a total pain to install.

Good buy
These are very pretty and durable. The only complaint I would have it there is already rust forming in the curved area.
