This deadbolt is a fantastic addition to my home security. Installation was quick and simple, even for someone without much DIY experience. It comes with long screws that add extra reinforcement, making it much more secure than standard locks. I feel a greater sense of safety knowing my door is properly reinforced.For me, the money was not my concern, however being able to find an inexpensive solution was an added bonus. The functionality and size is perfect for what I was looking for to add to my sense of safety at home with my family. One key thing to be mindful of is that it only works on inward swinging doors!We also use this as an additional security for small kiddos at camp, to prevent them from wandering out to the water without supervision!

This security lock is great, very well designed, great instructions, easy operation (once you figure out how it works it becomes intuitive).Some watch-outs: 1) make sure your door closes with this in place BEFORE fastening it to the frame. If it does not fit, you will have to cut (carefully) a slot to fit the device in the doorframe before screwing it in. Don’t forget to PAINT the area you carve out BEFORE screwing it in, since it is likely to be exposed to rain, water, etc (if installed on an outside door). 2) suggest to screw in first screw in middle of slot hole, since you can push/pull the device (after loosening this first screw) to fit your door when closed WATCh OUT if you try to close the door with any screw not properly seated and fully screwed in it WILL carve your door up.Would highly recommend, we use these on all our external doors instead of throw-bolts.

Wow! powerful locks feels safe very secure a friend recommended these. Wirh the price easy to put up..a friend held them while I drilled them in. Strong sturdy feels VERY safe. Highly recommend.

Came with longer screws. Had to add a shim to my door frames but easy install. Thank you. Update: One is catching, not closing smoothly now.

If you have small children who unlock the door this is perfect easy to install and keeps both you and your child safe and makes you feel safe when sleeping since we try the kick test and the door doesn’t budge love the price for two unlocking and locking is very easy to use and durable metal

These locks were easy to install and work great for childproofing doors. They also have any extra benefit for would be intruders and secure the door like an extra deadbolt is installed.
