Works as expected, very strong adhesive, super easy to use/apply. Helps keep our stronger than average 1.5 year old contained, super helpful safety mechanism, clever/simple design. Haven't tried removal, I would suggest using a hair drier to heat the adhesive, otherwise will likely take paint off with it. Would say a good value for 2.

I purchased this product for my 2 year old Grandson who is in and out of everything from the front door to closets, pantry, just always on the move. No matter how much we chase him, there he goes again.I did not know my Daughter and Son-in- Law were way ahead of me so these are extra which is good because there are a lot of doors.I was very pleased to see them up the other day and watch my Grandson try his best to open the doors. Suddenly he takes a shot at the apartment door and makes it outside. Thankfully the situation was rectified but I knew I had to do something quick. What if this happens when no one is aware or he wanders out when we’re sleeping. Even worse, with nothing more than a deadbolt I couldn’t help to think about some kind of protection from intruders. I found this product on Amazon and ordered it immediately. The shipping was extremely fast and it came with two in the pack. I installed it and it’s been a game changer in my house hold. This thing is easy to place, and it’s firm and sturdy. Child proof, and I’m almost sure it’s intruder proof. I purchased this 6 months ago, and about two weeks ago someone else in my apartment complex had the same problem with their toddler. I saw the baby walking and grabbed him and looked around for the parent. I ran into a lady panicking but she was excited when she saw I had her baby. She couldn’t stop thanking me and I ended up giving her the extra one I had in the pack. I’m glad to know that she will have rest knowing her kids are safe as well. I love this product. We purchased this for my 5 year old Austistic son as he will try and leave our apartment solo and doesn’t necessarily understand safety! It’s worked really well in that he hasn’t yet discovered how to utilize it (although we are careful to try and make sure he’s not looking when opening and closing as he’s a bit older and very smart). It has held up really well and definitely is serving its purpose. It’s easy enough for the adult to utilize while keeping my son safe in our home. I do have fears about it potentially removing paint from our doors when we leave but I’ll cross that bridge when we get there!
