Breakaway Nylon Coasters

I put these on two of my scopes, and they make the process of magnification so much easier. No more moving off target to reach for the wheel.

finally somebody made a throw lever that works. Magnifying dials for some reason are always tight, regardless of the make of scope. Most scope manufactures either produce a throw lever or will direct you to someone who does. Ive probably bought 8 different ones to fit two different scopes and they always fail, generally by working loose. Breakaway Tackle is a simple solution, works very well, stays tight. Just bought my second pair …cant beat the price.

Using this on a scope as a throw lever. Works quite well and is very inexpensive. A suggestion for installation. Install the Breakaway and tighten it down. Let it sit over night and then tighten it again. It takes it a little while to conform to the shape of the magnification ring.

These are just what the doctor ordered for hard to turn scope power rings, such as you find on some Leupold scopes, especially those with a round power ring with no "nub" to facilitate turning. They shipped super fast, seem to be excellent quality, and I have been playing with them for a few hours and they seem to be doing the job exactly as hoped.There is only one problem which I am sure the seller will fix ASAP, at least I hope so. I ordered two packages of two, but I got one package of two, and one package of one. It seems that another reviewer had the same issue so I am wondering, who's checking the content of the packages before shipping? That's why they lost the one star for what otherwise would have been a perfect 5 star rating.The Coasters are big enough to slip over the scope end caps so you don't even need to remove them, and while they are very hard to screw down, after several hundred turns up and down, they did not loosen. The band is narrow enough not to obscure the power markings yet take full advantage of the knurling on the power ring for a super tight and secure fit. I have some MKM scope adjuster rings incoming that I bought before finding these so I am anxious to compare these $15 for two to the $25 for one MKM scope adjusters. These are not as sleek or near as good looking as the MKM units but they offer an outstanding purchase on the power ring and make turning those super stiff Leupold power rings as easy as pie, not even bothering this septuagenarian's arthritic fingers. And the value for the $$$? Absolutely no comparison, these are one heck of a deal. Sure, if you are in a beauty contest and trying to impress your shooting buddies at the range, go for the high dollar ring adjusters, but these do the job at less than a third of the price. I only wish I had gotten these before ordering four custom made units from MKM but at least the scopes wearing the MKM units will look nice while doing the exact same thing these Coasters do, but as my old deceased mama always said, pretty is as pretty does, and these things using that standard are freaking beautiful!

Ran across this item while looking at something else. Decided to give it a try. Pretty innovative. A bit bulky, but it installs and works great.

I have these on almost all my rifle scope power adjusters. They are easy to install and make a big difference in ease of adjustments. Considering they are as much as 25% cheaper than name brands, that are actually no better, these are a huge bargain. But, if your power adjustment rings are rounded or already have a non removable handle these won't work.

I have used these things on four of my rifle scopes magnification rings for throw levers. I have four magnification rings throw levers that are the wrong size and didn't work, each time I was able to use this product for a throw lever and put the one that didn't work into my parts box, which I keep hoping I will get to use one of these days, unlike these, which so far, has worked every time on each scope.
