Good deal for a 3-pack mesh router
Seeing the low price for the 3-pack (dual/tri-band) combo set made me wonder if something is wrong with the device.Have been using it for over month now, so far it has worked very well, except one day when the connection seemed poor, but that was probably coz of my ISP.The installation was breeze. Was apprehensive how the WiFi smart switches will connect as the default SSID for 2.4G and 5G is same. Thankfully, all the Wifi switches connected flawlessly to the Velop mesh system. One trick to use the same SSID/pwd that was configured with the older router worked well. Some people have commented whether it is possible to have different SSID for 2.4G and 5G networks, thankfully it is possible. However I do not see the need to do that. Everything seems to be working well.Long story short, if you find a good price deal on this mesh router, go ahead and grab it. Have noticed bestbuy and other online outlets selling for much higher.

Solid Upgrade from Airport Extreme
Loved my 10 year old AirPort Extreme but as my kids got older and more online it was starting to show its limits. Especially at the edges of the house (like the kids rooms.). Going to add an Xbox One X to the network this Christmas and decided it was time for an upgrade.Velop looks great and was super easy to setup all three nodes. Now have super fast connection in every room in the house and can’t wait to start streaming all those 4K videos.

Mesh networks are a great way to set up a wireless home network.
The Velop home network takes a little time to set up, just read the direction carefully. It works very well and has not gliched even after power outages. You get hundreds of megabytes of download speed perfect if you are planning on launching a satellite!!! There should be no problem streaming 4K data to your 77 inch LG OLED Tv.It is seamless and has a firewall one of the things I had been looking for in a mesh network. My one criticism is that I cannot get it to network backwards to the signal. In other words, in my set up, there is a wired router representing another network and has wired machines plugged into them then wired to the mesh. The mesh cant find these networked machines (printer and DLNA server)... working on that. A simple solution would to be to just add a switch in between... I think?

Solved our in-home network problem
We couldn't get a reliable signal in our home office, despite a strong router signal and a small house. Our previous extender didn't help. This product did the trick. The recommended install procedure, using the app, was easy to follow but didn't deliver a strong signal. I called tech support, and was patiently walked through an alternative stup. It took an hour or so, but the tech support staff was great, and the system now works like a charm. No more dropped Zoom calls! All in all, just what we needed.

Fantastic product produced by linksys. 2nd purchase already.
The Linksys Velop mesh Wifi system is a fully reliable and trust worthy system that provides full coverage to my entire home including the garage and the surrounding outside area of my house. This particular unit is my second purchase, which I gave to my Brother as a gift for his house because he was having troubles getting Wifi to his Nest hello doorbell system at the front of his house. This solved the problem instantly for him because of the child nodes extending the distance of his Wifi internet. We’ve both been using these units for our house’s for well over a year now without dropping a signal or having any problems. Highly recommend Linksys velop wifi as a replacement or upgrade for your old Wifi router setup.

MESH is the BEST!
My house is a 2 story stick frame about 2500 sq ft. This is probably my 10 wifi system in as many years. My house is a dead zone until now. I hooked it up about 1.5 months ago and it's awesome!! I pull in 150mbps and now even in my son's room upstairs gets roughly 140mbps! The 3 nodes work together to create a coverage area that far exceeds the performance of any extender I have bought. These systems cost more but are very worth it. I work from home with 2 teenagers who remotely learn. Buy it!

Save your time and money! Do not buy.
I bought this system (and an additional two nodes) in August 2020 when my apple Airport Extreme died. Ever since then my internet has been spotty at best. For the first months, I blamed Spectrum (If you have Spectrum cable, you'll understand, they're the worst.) Recently the signal got so bad that most nights, we were downloading under 100mbps, and most mornings, we had no internet, which wasn't ideal since we are currently working from home. I PAID for a Spectrum tech to come out (they said the issue wasn't their fault, and for once they were right.) Their tech ran tests and we could see that the Velop mother node was broadcasting a very erratic signal, strong after a reboot, and deteriorating after that. Still under warranty, I called Linksys support. I spent a very frustrating 80 minutes manually rebooting and recreating the network, which was still uneven. I was told to monitor the download speed for 24 hours and call back. During this time we had to work hardwired (with blazing internet all the time), plus on hotspots on our phones, while monitoring the Linksys. Signal strength all over the place, but usually terrible. I called Linksys back and requested a replacement Mother Node. The nice guy on the phone said that he couldn't approve it but he would have someone call me back within the hour to set it up. I waited the rest of the night, and nothing. The call finally came the following evening, while I was eating dinner. I asked if we could resked, so we made an appointment to speak Monday at 1pm. That call never came. and then, I received an email saying that my case had been closed, and that they hoped I was happy with the resolution. This is appalling. I'm five hundred bucks into an entirely useless system that never worked well, and because it's covid and we are working from home, I am now forced to find an alternative router setup - that will set me back another five hundred bucks. I work in IT, I know what I'm doing with routers, and this Linksys situation has been among the worst I've been through. Faulty hardware, definite reluctance to send out a replacement, and truly abysmal customer service all add up to me saying that anyone looking for a decent, stable home wifi router system should look elsewhere.
