Not for daily/moderate use! Spend the money and get a heavier latch.
This latch is heavier than the original ones I bought. So far we are happy with the latches.AFTER USE REVIEW.We had to replace this latch with a much heavier one. Our posts are 6x6 and this latch just could not hold up to the daily use of the gate.

Good latch
Well built and solid. I needed the long bar. Just made new gates for my deck. The old gates sagged a little and rubbed against each other so this time I and I left a wider gap between the gates.

As represented works fine. Can’t say for the future, but now I have no concerns or complaints.

Looks good, but steel latch did not last long
Bought in late April, installed in early May and it broke in mid-September. Now I am looking for something make of steel that can last a few years. Maybe it was a fluke, but never had this happen before.

It sticks and doesn’t always lach all the way tightly

Missing a screw hole
Can't use it, the round bar only has one drilled hole, not 2 as shown in the photo.
