Why did you pick this product vs others?:This desk is simply amazing, I have bought several L-shaped desks and this one priced at around 90 dollars is the best value compared to competitors, in regards to the quality, area and space it provides. similar desks measure between 43 and 47 inches, this desk is noticeable bigger at 53 and has shelves, a PC bottom stand and a side pocket. I really recommend this desk to anybody and ODK in general has really reliable desks.

For the price, the quality is honestly great! These days, it’s nearly impossible to find real wood desks under \$500, so this is an awesome alternative.I love the shelving—perfect for displaying all my nerdy collectibles and the desk itself is spacious enough to comfortably fit two monitors. It also has a built-in outlet, which I use for my charger and drawing pad. The LED lights add a little razzle dazzle, and I love that the PC sits elevated off the ground.Assembly was pretty straightforward, but I do recommend having an extra set of hands to make it easier. Overall, I’m super pleased with this desk!

I love this desk sm !! It was pretty easy to put together. It took me and my bf around an hour. It’s the perfect size for our space. Definitely worth the money. It’s really nice quality for the price and it looks so great. 10/10 definitely recommend.

This thing has honestly blown me away. I wanted something with room for both my TV (43") for console gaming, and my computer for PC gaming, and it does just that.I wasn't expecting *too* much from a build-it-yourself item off Amazon, since such items tend to have a reputation as being flimsy. But the wood boards actually have good weight to them, and after assembling the whole thing, it feels quite solid (it's rated for 300lbs, btw). The feet can be (un)screwed slightly to accommodate for uneven floors and prevent wobbling. There's 28-29" of clearance between the floor and the main surface. It does seem to hold onto fingerprints, but I've used both a mild multi-purpose cleaner and Orange Glo without leaving marks or damaging the surface. I'd avoid anything harsh like bleach, ammonia, or vinegar, though.Assembly was easy and straightforward; every single part is labeled, and the instructions are 85% diagrams, with indicators as to which direction certain components should be facing. If you're having trouble with holes not lining up, there's a good chance you've just gotten something mixed up somewhere. I also had no missing parts, and only one board was slightly scuffed, but it's not visible after assembly, so I'm not pressed. (And honestly, such things are bound to happen occasionally during shipping.)I put the whole thing together myself in a couple of hours. Take your time, read the directions carefully, and you should have no issues! The hardest part were the first few steps of getting the bottom frame together--that's where it's easiest to mix things up--but after that, it's rather intuitive, and everything comes together pretty quickly. With another set of hands you can probably get this desk assembled in an hour or less.I did mistakenly attach the LED strip upside-down the first time (oops), so if you can't tell which side is the top, just plug it in & turn it on real quick to help with orientation. Thankfully there were a couple extra sticky pads included, and you can use a safety razor to separate the pads from the desk without damaging the light strip.The adjustable side shelf, PC floor shelf, headset hook, and hanging bag are nice bonus features. Now I just need a new chair...So if you're contemplating getting this desk but are still on the fence, I say go for it, especially if it's on sale. People on FB Marketplace were charging ~$60+ for scratched, dusty, old desks, and IKEA's prices have gotten pretty high. So at the end of the day, you might as well get something new, and this one is a fair deal.

Received this desk five days ago and came early from the expected shipping date. Put together the next day with ease. The directions are pretty straightforward. There was only one point where it was confusing but after 10 mins of figuring out, it was fine. To note, if you’re going to install the shelve on the lower setting, go ahead and install your power outlet before the shelf. You wouldn’t have enough room to tighten the screws. Overall, the quality and build is 5/5. Stability is great and the screw holes matched up pretty spot on. If they were off it isn’t noticeable. Size if perfect, if you have a question of the height of the desk when sitting under like I did. Shouldn’t have to worry about it, and that coming from a bigger person. It’s real easy to clean. Have plenty of desk space. Currently using a laptop, Xbox, second monitor and iPad with keyboard and still have enough room for a notebook, charging cables, mouse and controller. I would definitely recommend and when it’s time to upgrade or add another desk, Will be reusing the desk again.

First off, the biggest issue is the height—it’s way too low. I had to lower my computer chair to the absolute minimum just to sit comfortably. Even then, my knees sometimes scrape the bottom of the desk. It feels like it’s made just for sliding in, not for comfort. Forget about resting your feet on anything underneath.Now, about the length: if you have an ultrawide monitor like I do, that’s it—your desk space is gone. There’s no room left for much else.That said, I actually really like the side with the shelves. They’re sturdy and hold all my gaming consoles easily, and I love how that part is laid out. Assembly was easy, and it feels pretty stable overall.If you’re on a tight budget, it’s not terrible. But if you want more comfort and space, I’d recommend spending a bit more. This one is more of a “just enough” setup.
