3D PRINTING The Definitive Handbook: An Essential How-To for Beginners, Hobbyists, and Innovators

Good information for beginners
This is exactly the basic overview I needed to get started 3D printing. It’s got straightforward explanations of the process and devices, suggestions of what to look for when you’re choosing a 3D printer, some tips to consider if you’re planning on doing it as a business, a detailed section on slicing, and some troubleshooting ideas.I could probably have looked all of this information up online, but it is really nice to have it all in one small book. Bonus: I can share it with my kid, who will also be using our 3D printer (and who is at the age where she takes anybody else’s advice over her mom’s).My only complaint is that the content is poorly edited in a bunch of places, and that always distracts me. Typically, I will stop reading a book if it has typos or grammatical errors, because I can’t avoid getting distracted by them and they make me doubt the quality of what I’m reading — but this is good content, so I’m reading on. I wish the author had gotten a better editor to fine-tune the content before publishing, and that’s my only complaint. To be clear, this is very basic information. I could have searched the internet and read through forums to asssemble a similar reference guide. But it is worth it to have a short reference to keep near our device during my upcoming 3D printing newbie phase. If you’re a newbie, it could be worth your while to check this out.

Great job!
Loved the book. Great for beginners. I’m seriously thinking about getting a basic machine and I learned a lot from these authors!

Great Book, Add a Photo of the "F", please, authors
Thank you so much for this book; it's a great resource. You do need to add a pic or two, tho. I get pics prob increase the production cost of the book and your readers google, but you have specific examples that your descriptions depend on. The letter "F" example, with supports and spacing, for example, it just needs a pic. That's just fact. You need to put a pic there. The rest? Fantastic. Definitely a five star book for 3d printing novices. There isn't much out there and glad for the help. I've been reading through the few books, lol, and each offers something unique, yours included. Your advice was helpful.

Not a beginner book.
It doesnt even state how (how or what-file names after the dot.) to download to a slicer. Like a high level text book. I am disatisfied.
