Very good book to use for homework
When I didnt prepare any homework or had spare time because kids finished quiz or activity, I had kids do a page. I used it with other books in the series(this 180 day set books)

has been very useful and well received by my 10 year old
I really like this book and my 10 year old has enjoyed reading from it. I've learned some things as well. I will buy the next in the series when we are done. It helps learn words when you have a context and a bit of history.

The Reading Teacher's Word-A-Day
Definitely recommend. I checked out this book for my middle school daughter from the library and she liked it enough that I bought our own copy. The book presents vocabulary with word roots in a way that doesn't bore a teenager to death. My hope is to improve her language skills on assessment tests. Hey, any help she can get, the better.

Worth the cost, time, and effort
Use this as a jump start for my English Language Arts Classes. Minor typing errors, no answer key, but overall a great daily starter. The students and I learn more about our language each day.

I love this book
I love this book! I use it as a bell ringer for my learning disabled high school reading students. I am learning as well...really enjoy the root word meaning / history and especially like the prefix review.
