You can attach it easily. It runs fine but does not trim. Later if you figure out how to attach it correctly, it trims fine. There is no detailed instruction on this. Safety around anything electronic is a high concern and I have not had any issues with this. I dry it out completely when I charge it. The attachments are easy to put on and replace.
