Works well
I am amazed at how nice the pictures come out. I was a little skeptical at first but it has been fun being able to instantly print a picture. I will get a lot of use out of it. Mine is the 4x6 size, I felt the 2x3 was just too small for what I wanted.

Low Quality Print / Cartridge Malfunction
I was super excited for this product. I printed my first photo and there are areas where you can see the different color passes (random red spots throughout). The image itself also came out a little blurry. The second picture I tried to print came out absolutely awful (one pass of yellow and 1/3 red, wouldn't finish printing) and now I can't even print because the cartridge jammed. The printer says I don't have a cartridge in after cleaning it up. Disappointing since you have to buy another pack of paper to have the cartridge.

Not a bad mini-dye sub printer for journaling or scrapbooking
This is a dye sub printer so it is more vibrant than say a laser or inkjet printer and it looks better for photos, but there is a common problem that it prints with a little too much red. So usually, I have to do a test print, than adjust all the photos a little cooler (adding blue) in order to get the whites and skin tones right. As a graphic designer, not hard for me, but some might be disappointed with the prints right out of the box. They simplify the supplies process by making the ink and paper in the same package, but if the ink goes, then the paper is wasted. Or if you lightly print and use the paper first, the ink is good but you've run out of paper. For me, I usually run out of color first. In that way this system can be expensive to run, so this is best used for one-offs where color and sharpness is not that critical like journals, diaries, or scrapbooks. For anything else, a larger photo printer is better.

One hit wonder.
I bought this in December to use at my child's birthday party. The setup took a while, but eventually we got it going. The color of the pictures aren't vivid, but its cute to be able to print souvenir pictures on the spot. I recently (April) decided to print more pictures and now the printer isn't working. The ink roll caused a paper jam. I removed the jam and now the printer toggles between not recognizing that the printer tray is full, and getting jammed. I tried all methods of troubleshooting but it has not helped with the paper jams.I reached out to both Polaroid and Amazon to see if I can get the printer fixed (since i am 4 months into the 1 year warranty). But they both have ping-ponged me and told me it's the other company's issue to fix .As of right now I just have an expensive paperweight.

Easy to use 4x6 photo printer
I had the canon photo printer for years. It was pretty easy to use. This is very similar to the Canon version. It uses Dye diffusion film, no inks at all. Which produce much better quality images then the ink jet printers. Don't need to worry about cleaning the print head or anything. The paper will need to feed through the printer 4 times, to get all the colors imprinted on to the paper. Once its done, it does look like the traditional developed photos. But keep in mind this is NOT an actual polaroid film photos. This is still a digital photo printed. Unlike the instax photo printers, they produce an actual analog photo, from the chemicals. I do like the design and the color of this printer. The white and the red style. Very cute. I do wish there is some type of battery option, so I can use it remotely, when I am not in the office. (Canon version does have the battery option)
