Versatile tool with many applications.
Very heavy and noisey, but gets the job done. Quality oscillating tool heads meant for wood or metal last much longer than those supplied.

Much better than I expected - but somewhat limited blade availability
This is my first oscillating multi-tool. When I bought it it was just over $50 here on Amazon. At the time of the writing of this review it has increased in price by about $10, so obviously Black & Decker and Amazon realized that it was too good of a deal at the lower price.Don't worry, it's still a great value at $60-something dollars. I'm not a professional contractor (if I was, I'd drop the $300+ and get a Fein), but I am a fairly heavy-use home user (I am currently doing a whole-house renovation). All I can say is the B&D multi-tool is worth much more than I paid (probably worth $100) when compared to the features and power of competitors. The quick-change blade feature is HUGE! Don't waste your money on any multi-tool that doesn't have a quick change blade feature. Here's the only warning I have about this unit - Black and Decker blades are hard to find. Now, that being said, there is one brand of universal-fit blades that will work with this unit, those are the ROCKWELL brand. I think you can find them here, but LOWE'S also stocks them. I've done a lot of research (and bought and returned alot of so called "universal-fit" blades) and from what I've learned, the only blades that will fit on this unit are B&D and Rockwell. Some people say that the Porter-cable brand blades fit too, but I have not been able to verify that, so you will need to find that out for yourself. All in all though, a great first multi-tool and (IMHO) the best multi-tool under 90. Good luck with your work, don't hurt yourself.

Real solid, versatile time and labor saver.
Oh yes, I love this tool. I bought it remove the grout from the kitchen tile. That job took a long while but then I imagine the time if I had done it by hand! My second use was to get the caulk out from around the bath. I used the saw blade for that and it, again, did an outstanding quick job. It really dug out that old caulk. Today I used it to remove carpet pad that had been glued to the floor. I used the smooth scraper blade for this job and it just ate it up. Again, it saved me hours of work. I bet I could have cut the carpet with it, if I had just thought about it.Tomorrow the job is to cut under the door frames for the Pergo tile to fit. This will be with the saw blade.I don't use this tool everyday, or even every month, but when I do it is always a trooper and is well worth the cost.

An affordable and practical tool for the home DIY consumer.
You really can't beat all the value packed into this tool for such an affordable price. This is by far one of the most useful power tools I have ever purchased. It's easy to master and after a few tasks you'll wonder how you lived without this tool for so long. It cuts through most materials with ease and a level of precision that only master craftsmen can achieve with more conventional tools. My only complaint is the availability and price of spare parts. My first one died after about 5 years of regular use. The variable speed control circuit board corroded. Not sure why. And although I was able to find an online parts supplier, the part was backordered for several weeks. So I bought a brand new one instead. Happy to note that apart from some minor cosmetic changes, the design is pretty much identical. So if I never get my first one fixed, at least I can use it for spare parts.

Incredibly useful- from the very first day.
I just got the B&D 200MTB today. I'm in the middle of fixing up all the annoying upkeep jobs that come with owning a house, and I found myself in need of versatile tool that can cut and sand in tight spaces– B&D 200MTB to the rescue! I sanded a large portion of wood siding that had long since been exposed to water, with wood rot becoming increasingly apparent. Yesterday I had filled all the exposed space that exists after the rot removal with "Great Stuff" foam, and let it harden over night. With the B&D 200MTB and its quick change cutting tool, I cut and shaped the excess hardened foam with ease, and with a surprising amount of precision. And as a bad thunderstorm was quickly approaching (within minutes), I cut a bevel on a new piece of composite trim- something I would have normally taken out my circular saw for- but with the storm only a few seconds away, I used the B&D 200MTB instead. It did a great job with cutting. I quickly switched to the sanding head and smoothed out any nicks, and tacked up the trim right as it started to rain and thunder. As long as this tool holds up over time, this will be one of the best tools I ever purchased- alongside my Milwaukee mini cordless drill.

Great tool!
I just needed a simple oscillating tool for odd jobs around the house and this gets the job done perfectly without having to have another battery and charger laying around.A great price, too!
