Excellent Reproduction of Peacock Edition for the Price you can't beat it.
Great reproduction of the orginial peacock edition if you are looking for a reasonable hardcover without paying the price you would for the Easton Press edition. Then is defintely for you. I received this and love it. It is not the same quality the Easton Press would be, but for the price it's a nice hardcover and I just love the illustrations of Hugh Thompson in this. I have been looking for years for a nice reproduction of the peacock edition without paying $350.00 dollars plus over for the leather edition. This fit's the bill. Highly recommend!

Nice affordable peacock version reproduction!
If you’ve always had a desire to own an original “peacock version” of “Pride and Prejudice” but discovered that copies are not affordable then this is for you. This is the complete book with original illustrations. Yes, it’s a reproduction but for the price this might be as good as it gets without paying $thousands for an original or even $350 plus for the leather edition made by Easton Press.

Loved it
My mom loved this as a gift! Great text size. The hard cover felt great and good quality

Delightful
This is exactly what it presents itself to be - not the novel Pride and Prejudice, but rather, Hugh Thomson's delightful illustrations of Pride and Prejudice. Precisely what I wanted.

Quality to be improved
Given the price of the book, the quality of the product is not as exquisite as it seems. The protection and quality control is also disappointing. There is no protection at all for the book, the paperback cover is damaged and the bottom of the book looks to have been damp before.

Is this Peacock reproduction accurate?
At the end of Chapter VI, Miss Bingley’s quote is off: “her wit flowed along.” Every edition I’ve ever read has been “her wit flowed long.”Is this book a true reproduction? Did the original Peacock edition have this version? Also, the formatting on “The Apothecary came” is redundant.I’m loving Hugh Thomason’s illustrations; just not sure yet if all the text is genuine. I’m still reading through it.
