The media could not be loaded. I love the art deco look of these bookends. I originally ordered them for my office — I'm an English instructor and have a ton of books — but I like the aesthetic so much that I brought them home for my bedroom.These bookends are extremely sturdy and surprisingly heavy, so they function well even if you have large, hardcover books between them.Up close, you can see some minor imperfections in the molded resin, but it is unnoticeable when viewing them on a shelf from a few feet away. The arcs of the main design are well-measured and look great.My only criticism is the price — yes, they look great, but for over $30 to accomplish something that could be done with a couple of bricks with felt glued on (which has a nice aesthetic as well), I wouldn't call this set a bargain. I'm glad I have a set, but I don't think I'll order any more unless the brand offers a deal/sale.
