Forget 15 years; the one I received didn’t last 15 days. Early morning of day 11, the lighter is gone. Spoilt, kaput, broken, out.For informational purposes, here were my thoughts soon after I received the lighter:There are two significant problems, however:1. The charging time is decent—it seems to get to full charge in 1/2 an hour. I’ve also tried 1 hour and 2 hours. The problem is, it lasts for ONLY about 10 to 15 light-ups on a full charge. I can imagine you’ll need to charge this pretty often. (And imagine your frustration if you’re *just* about to light up—perhaps outdoors—and you find the battery is out!)2. The coil is not on a flat surface; it’s *in* a circular depression almost exactly the width of a typical cigarette. So you can’t randomly place the tip of your cigarette on the coil; if you do, only one side will light up. You need to *carefully position the cigarette* in the middle of the depression for an even light. This is *very* irritating—especially because once you’ve switched the coil On, you’re in a hurry to use it because you don’t want to drain the battery!!
