A “sound” buy!!!
Haven’t had the chance to listen full blast yet but the equipment was easy to set up. But make sure your speaker wire connections are hooked up properly. Very happy with the seller. Very satisfied!Update: Now having listened full blast all I can say is WOW!!!! I always test with the opening of Close Encounters and was not disappointed!!

great freq response
Freq response is great and wattage is great for a motor coach. Packaged tight.

Excellent accept small shut down issue.
Slight Bias up front. Yamaha has always been an excellent Surround system. The quality is impeccable, and the sound is always on point. The only issue I am running into is that halfway through a movie, it just shuts down. I ensured it had plenty of air and changed the speaker's hertz to match. Check the speaker wire crossing and connections, as they don't make sense.

For the $, just average.
The sound is mostly average. Yamaha got carried away with trying to program listening preferences and naming them. Sound preferences are subjective. People understand high, low, and mid frequencies. Let them adjust those easily and you'll be ahead of the game. It's also just an average sound system - nothing special. So, I'd have to say the price is not justified. Yamaha's living on their past reputation with this one.
