Keep the di a dance from vtx antenna at least 3 or 4 inches away to avoid radio interference
Gps modules come in slightly different shapes . This one is better faster and gets more satelights . But I had to silicone glue it into the old broken gps mount i replaced .

Extra long wires for many applications
Very easy to set up in betaflight, and very intuitive instructions on how to connect it to FC etc...Set it outside my house after installing, soldering, and setting up in betaflight, it took 20 minutes just to find 5 satellites and minimum for arming is 8 on stock settings. Waited about 10 more minutes and finally had 9 satellites connected but my batter was already so low from all the waiting I only got a 1 minute flight. Had to bring it back to me and I did the normal thing, shut off my radio. Turned off my FPV monitor and then pulled the battery from the quad. The gps had 11 satellites attached at the time so I figured it's all set up should be faster on connection next battery pack. Was I wrong, yes absolutely. I revised the quad after disconnecting that first pack and said let run another. Turned on my radio and monitor and slapped a new battery pack on that bad boy. To my dismay I had 0 satellite connections after about 40 seconds of the quad being powered up. Figure maybe it takes about a minute. Walked away drank some water and checked my monitor for gps status, still 0 satellites. Ok I thought maybe cause it's new needs more time, waited a whole 10 minutes before it got any connection which was 4 whole satellites. Could not arm it so I changed settings in betaflight to be able to fly it with 0 regardless. After running a 1000mah 6s battery through it, while coming in to land it finally got 8 satellites to connect. I landed the quad and immediately slapped another pack onto it, to the gps demise it took a whole nother 15 mins to acquire any connection. Not saying the gps is bad, maybe it's my flight location but so far it sucks. I shouldn't have to waste out more than half a battery pack waiting for it to initialize. That's ridiculous all other gps units I have seen working take anywhere from 5 seconds to 1.3 minutes to acquire 20 satellites connection. All this to say I am going to test at another location and if it is the same I will be returning this gps module and getting a replacement, if the same thing occured I will just flat out return it and purchase a different module

Drone overheats before GPS can find satellites, trash.
I bought four of these SoloGood M10 GPS units, two with compass and two without, and put them on four of my drones. They take so long to acquire satellites that the 03 AirUnit overheats and I have to pull the power to let the quad cool off. Unfortunately, that starts the GPS over from the beginning trying to find satellites. I had the idea to wire the GPS to get power from the flight controller when I plug a USB cable into it so that the GPS can find satellites and then I can plug the main battery in once the GPS has enough satellites. Unfortunately, after waiting more 20 minutes the GPS only found four satellites. My old M8 connected much quicker than this. Unfortunately, I have had these too long to return them since I didn’t install and test them immediately after I received them. Spend a few dollars more for a different brand because these are junk in my experience.
