This is my second set but didn't really need to be replaced, that is, until the next door neighbor's 2-year old child decided to either KICK or BEAT with a stick and broke the heck out of these beautiful lanterns. It's been over a year, but possibly two, because they have lit up the driveway for the last two Halloweens. They light up the walkway nicely without much fuss.Coincidentally, this "second" set was purchased for the intention to have spares and replace if any failed, but looks like it will be a primary one now, lol. Bought it during PRIME DAYS. Salvaged the "heads" of the laterns, and now they are just butt up against an external wall. Still illuminates.BTW, for those reviewers who may have one or two that are not lighting, be sure to wipe off the top of the unit, and you can unscrew the top to check if the "filament" is loose. I fixed two of mine that had been loosened by the elements (and child). We got it all this year, wind up to 60 miles, heat up to 100's, water/rain up to 12". So glad they survived Mother Nature! Too bad they didn't survive the little man next door :(

If you like the look of flickering candles,then you’ll like this set.They don’t illuminate the area at all,but are relaxing to look at.There was one defective light in the set,but not complaining due to the inexpensive cost.One thing I would recommend is that when you’re pushing the post with the stake into the ground,Make sure to push straight or the post will crack at end.What I recommend is you wrap a few layers of black tape around end of post after the stake has been inserted, then push into ground.

Edit: seller offered a full refund without me asking, updating my review to reflect excellent customer service and going out of their way to make things right when they didn't have to..I really wanted to give these a good review but all things considered I just cant. When we received and set up the lights 4 of them stopped working after the first rain (it wasn't even a heavy rain) because the little solar panels on them werent seated well and water got into the light. Had them exchanged for another set and everything was fine but now, not even a month later, 3 more are no longer working. They look great they just don't last. I would understand like a year down the road if some started to fail but having them start dropping off in under a month I just cant recommend them as a purchase.

Nice product we'll see how long it lasts.Looking good in our yard. Lighting is good.Plastic so....Looking for inexpensive accent lights? Then try these.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Absolutely am in LOVE with these lights! I've had them outside for a week and they are gorgeous. One stopped working after two days and I didn't want to return all of them due to one bad light. Highly recommend!

Don’t buy these. I wouldn’t even give this 1 star..I purchased this set in May 2025.So far 2 have quit working. They get sun all day.No way to change any battery, they don’t have a replaceable battery. I’m very disappointed with these! They quit working this month and I’ve only had them for 2 months. Can’t return because it’s over a month old. What a complete waste of money. Couldn’t even last for the summer. Pathetic. It’s a shame too because they really do look nice lit up if they only worked.

I put these around my pool and have had them out in the sun for a week now and they will not turn on. At first I thought they were too close to the pool so I pulled them out and set them in my yard in direct sunlight and they still will not work. I think they are very nice looking and if I can get them to work I would be very pleased with them. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Update... lights are working but don't stay lit long.

We are very satisfied with these yard lights. The flickering looks like real flame and lasts most of the night, depending on how much sunshine they were exposed to during the day.
