Underwater lights
I ordered 3 of these lights as a replacement for "older" lights for our 48' boat. They look great and have a fair amount of light and work well. As for installation, we had the shipyard install during the regular haul out. These lights are a good value for the price.

Worth it....Very long lasting design for a bronze underwater lightEven in dirty muddy waters the light output isn’t badBecause of the glass design when the boat has been sitting for weeks then you turn them on you can see the marine growth Burning away as it gets brighter and brighter during the night from the heat on the glass

Work well, but fail after a while
These are pretty good quality lightsl. I have three of them on my boat. If your boat stays in the water like mine, there is a good chance at least one of them will fail within the 3 year warranty window. However, salt water is a harsh environment, so I don't know if it is reasonable to expect more longevity.
