TERRIFIC COMPONENT. WORKS GREAT WITH THE POWER SUPPLY IN MY HAM SHACK.

It will beep until it's fully charged. This is normal. For some reason this isn't clear in the instructions. It'll charge for around 10 mins. Than remove the resistor from the positive cable and hook the cable directly to it. Ur set from there. The reason u charge it slowly is to keep from shocking the electrical system. So just do it. I bought this to upgrade from my 2.0 farad and can’t complain the system seems more stable and reliable. The price isn’t bad either but the installation instructions aren’t clear it’s comes with a resistor and doesn’t work. Whenever I install it without the resistor in between he start working on.

It works ok still dims but I'm running 8k watts it's rated for 6k, I did hear a cracked when tightening the positive side.

Fantastic! This capacitor is fantastic. Especially when used in parallel with 2 or 3. Bass hits incredibly hard with no additional batteries or upgraded alternator.
