I installed this as an interior garage door opener button, and it works perfectly! Wiring was straightforward and simple. I did have to cut a small opening in the sheetrock wall to accommodate the button's thickness, but that was no big deal at all. The button I replaced was a basic doorbell button. This one is so much nicer because of it's larger size. You can just hold your hand up and take a general swat at it, and you'll hit it almost every time. So much more convenient to use. This button is nicely made, and everything I could have asked for. Perfect! Highly recommend!

This exit button is pretty cheap. It isn't the same size as a standard wall box, which is fine, but then it has some other quirks too. It has a green translucent bar across the top that LOOKS like it should be a light to see if you are in a room in the dark and need to find the exit. It is not a light, though. I guess some models of this may have an LED inside but this one does not. The text printed on the button looks distorted and the word DOOR and EXIT seem to be different sizes and different letter spacing. It just looks and feels cheap overall, but you get what you pay for I guess, it's only $7.99.It was easy to install and works well with my Unifi Access Pro door access system for a storage room. I will probably replace it with a nicer exit button at some point but it's okay for now.
