A personal book made at home that could be improved in many ways.
Gout is a difficult disease, and the lifestyle restrictions it causes can be quite significant. This book has many flaws, including inaccuracies, numerous errors, and carelessness in the choice of format, design, and layout. For example, in many medical guidelines, many of the foods allowed in this book are never part of a diet for gout. Another example is that the author classifies gout into several stages, even though there are no truly safe meals described for them.

Buyers be warned.
The contents within seem to be published using Microsoft Office or some such. The tables of content bleed into each other, so you have coffee in the dairy column as an example. Poor show. The cover is nice though. Shame.

Useless waste of money
Completely impractical. Ridiculously complicated recipes of a type that a family would not eat. No clear guidance. Not even well presented - lists have gone out of tabulation so that “dairy” includes fruit juice and “drinks” includes anchovies and herrings (page 10). Total rubbish.Livid. I wanted help and got rubbish. However - as ever help available elsewhere. NHS website and Mayo Clinic websites both helpful if dull.

If you don't have an 'Instant Pot' or a slow cooker - don't bother
Nowhere does it say you need an 'Instant Pot' until you get into the recipes (35 in total), so unless you want to spend another £80+ getting one, don't bother. Another 27 recipes call for a slow cooker.
