Q: How long does it take to set?

The foam has a cream time of approx 15 seconds, a rise time of approx 150 seconds, it can be demoulded after 20 - 30 minutes and will have fully cured in 24 hours.

Q: Is this sandable if i was trying to make a mould

Yes it is. But the surface is not smooth because of the open cell structure.

Q: When dry, would I be able to put a sewing pin in it? I want to make a dress form and need the foam to be pinable.

I made a dress form too. I had to use twice as much foam as I expected though. The surface wasn't as smooth as the commercial ones, more like a broken crunchie bar, maybe that's due to having to chisel off the plaster of paris cast. I covered it with a layer of tissue papermache. Yes you can pin it. If you make a cast it needs lining with clingfilm before filling. I wasn't so successful with that part. Good Luck
