Solid sound
Well crafted. Running 100 watt per speaker and they sound amazing. Nice base for a 6.5 speaker. Highs are crisp. Would recommend.

Excellent Bass and Highs
Excellent sounding speakers. For the size and the power they are perfect for my bedroom and living room too.The size is great , nice clean Bass and nice clear Highs , the rear port brings out the Bass along with the 5 way speaker posts and the option of Bi wiring too.Love the deep and curved cabinets in fact these have better sound then my old Polk B/S Speaker with their curved cabinet.I have these on my speaker stands by Pangea Audio along running these speakers to my Denon mini stereo system .Awesome set up.I recommend anyone wanting to buy bookshelf speakers buy these and you won't break your bank.Back in the 90's I owned a pair of C.V. AT-12 Speakers and they lasted a long time with great sound too.Excellent looks , sound , power , nice deep cabinet and well built on the inside too.

I used to love the brand
I owned a pair of floor cv back in the 90s and loved them. At first I thought these sounded muddy with a brand new Sony 100 watt 4-8 ohm receiver. Broke them in with low to mid sound in a variety of genres. Noticed today one sounded like rattling or even buzzing at times. Not sure what to think. I talked with Amazon help to troubleshoot but still the same. I may reach out to the seller. The packaging was intact and did not look like a return item. Hopefully I don't have to send back but I want the sound to be like it should.

Small but nice sounding.

Very full clean sound
Solid bass detailed highs, these things sound amazing. Using them as my rear surrounds against Klipsch RB81’s in front. The detail in highs with the Klipsch is hard to match but these hold up quite nicely against them. I replaced RB51’s in rear because I needed more bass in the back. (51’s 5.25 woofers these Vegas 6.5) been a Vega fan since childhood so these are definitely a novelty for me. Very happy with their performance. CV always rocks!

The media could not be loaded. The 165 are the best sounding stereo and surround speakers, I’ve heard in a long time…
