The shelves may hold weight but their difficult to keep together. One bump and they came dislodged taking out every shelf falling straight down like dominos. I had to use masking tape to keep the pieces in place, during assembly. Worried about reselling, simply because of the way they cant be trusted.

This product is wonderful once you have completed the set up. Myself and a mechanic worked almost 4 hours to assemble three units. We are not sure if it was the packing or manufacturing that was the problem.The pieces do not fit properly and we constantly had to adjust or slightly bend several of the pieces to get a proper fit. It is not as easy as the videos show.

This product has the worst assembly instructions of any product i have ever purchased. Also, lo list of parts. According to the diagram, there should have been 1 more shelf, but the number of parts did not reflect that.

Bought 2 of these for a community center. Two arrived substantially dented (see photos). No instructions--whoever assembles this has to figure it out from the 2-minute video and be very good with spatial reasoning and working with their hands. The construction is such that the bookcase MUST be affixed to the wall in order to be safe (hardware included). I'll say one thing, though, the steel shelves are sturdy. We have every inch loaded with books, no problem.

The pieces that arrived undamaged are great. The until builds quickly. It's also very easy to adjust. This would be a five star review if I could get a unit to arrive without shipping damage. As of this writing I need a top, one vertical support, bottom front support, bottom rear support and two shelves.I'm hopeful to get the replacement pieces and will edit this review once this is resolved and/or the new parts arrived undamaged.

I have bought 1 two separate times and they each arrived undamaged. I had no problems with assembly, very easy actually. Also they are very sturdy and durable. I find them perfect for supporting my binders and boxes of sports cards due to their weight. Love them and plan on getting more in the future.

The bookcase looks great, shelves are very strong but there is not one screw or a solid back that keeps it structurally sound to prevent side to side movement. There is no cross bracing.

This was really better than I expected. Heavy duty and large, will hold a lot of stuff. Was easy to put together.
