AMT 1992 4x4 Pickup 1:20 Scale Model Kit

Arrived on time is exactly what I ordered it looks cool and pretty simple to put together

Bought it for a gift for my husband and he loved it

I liked the kit, it’s rare, but I hated the way it was packaged and the damage it did to the box.

Since they don't seem to have my truck (an '88) in plastic model form, I got this one (a '92). I've built various model kits for decades, and I know good kits, and not so good kits. This one is sub-par in engineering. The main design, and parts are accurate, however, there was not a lot of thought put into part connections (where part tabs connect to other part's slots). AMT was never like this in the past. This kit is OK, and fairly decent if you want this particular model, however, they could have done a better job with it.
