Folic Acid vs. Methylfolate
According to the wise oracle Artificial Intelligence, methylfolate is usually better utilized than folic acid. But when I saw that wonderful BulkSupplements.com was selling folate, I jumped on it without realizing it wasn't methylfolate. I was so impressed, I got the huuuge 365 cap size, which could last well into the next decade. Unless I give away some as door prizes. So, my next plan is to take a massive 4000 mcg of their Folic Acid per day to compensate for its relatively reduced utilization. Being in the Vitamin B category, I expect any extra folate to enrich my urine, but probably have no greater negative effects.I give this Folic Acid: 5 stars, to help compensate for the other 1 star review that someone else left because they purchased this item without realizing it contains soybean oil which they're not able to take 🙄

Good for the body.
I use this product every day as part of my overall health regiment. I really like this companies product because they don't use any fillers and everything is packed in a yeast free, soyfree, eggfree, environment.

About the product and the company..
There is only one minor negative I could find with this BulkSupplements.com Folic Acid Softgels. The bottle has only one safety seal. However, the bottle is filled to capacity with a year’s supply and you only need to take one per day. You get 1000 mcg, the recommended max daily dose of folate. You may notice it says 1667 mcg DFE (Dietary Folate Equivalent) on the bottle. That refers to how much natural folate in foods you need to consume to equal one softgel. These are in softgel form, which I prefer as they are easier to swallow than pills. I cut one softgel open (see pic) to see the contents. It's actually in a liquid paste form which seems to liquefy as it is warmed. The taste of the contents is non distinct.I never heard of BulkSupplements.com before, but I found it very easy to research the company on the internet. They seem to be very open and transparent, something I look for in a supplier/manufacturer.The following company info was gleaned from internet research:Founded in 2013, BulkSupplements.com is the internet name for Hard Eight Nutrition LLC, located in Henderson, NV, USA. They are currently operating out of a 45,000 sq. ft. facility, but either are in the process (2024), or already have expanded to 137,000 sq. ft.With more than 100 employees on staff, Bulk Supplements manufactures some of their own products and will increase the amount of self-manufactured supplements with the expansion. They ship worldwide.BulkSupplements.com offers Sports Nutrition, Herbal product, Sweeteners, Vitamins and Minerals and maintain a website where you can get more information. They check all the marks for safe manufacturing practices.I feel comfortable ordering from this supplier.

Easy to take softgel
The softgels are easy to take, it is very small and this brand the amount in each is what i was looking for. The daily dose of just 1 softgel so that makes it easy to keep track and not get discouraged.

I'm not a fan of softgels
I'm not one to regularly pop pills, and that is what you must do regularly to benefit from this supplement. It's not the product's fault. It's just that I can't evaluate the potential unless I remember to consume soft gels on a regular basis. I much prefer to incorporate supplements into foods that I consume regularly, such as yogurt and other probiotics. I can do that with powders, and even capsules, but not softgels.I'm sure these are effective, and labeled properly, but I would not purchase these again due to their lack of versatility.

Keeping my numbers up
I had some random labs done and found my folic acid count was low and I was looking for something that would up that number, be large quantity, and not break my bank. These are the ones and I'm so happy with them.

Great reliable vitamin brand
Excellent quality vitamin, this Folic Acid does about the same job as name brands at almost a quarter of the cost. This comes with a huge bottle that lasts you a full year which is extremely cheap when you consider the cost per vitamin. The vitamins are easy to swallow and doesn't give me any burps or acid reflux which some do it's just easy to swallow and use.
