I bought an oil heater and it didn't quite work the way i thought it would. But this one was just what I was looking for and the effect is almost immediate! Had a toasty end of winter with this baby.👍

I bought one of the 'wooden box' style quartz heaters for my office. It worked okay, but ran almost all of the time trying to get my office up to the set 68 degrees. It would go well pass that and get the room up to 75dgeree ( fahrenhiet ) and never shut off. A power meter showed this other unit was drawing 1500 watts almost all of the time.So, I bought this unit to see if it would work better. And it does. At peak it looks to draw up to 1300 watts. But after a short while it appears to fall back down to 800 watts. When the temperature, measured at the heater, reaches the set value, it does shut off heating until it drops below the set point.The room is just under 200 square feet, but has a high ceiling. It can take this heater a couple of hours to bring the room up from high 40s to 68. I can't blame it for that. But doing it on 800 watts is terrific.So, works as needed so far. A good purchase given the features and perceived build quality.

This was purchased for my daughter who was renting a place until she settled in to a new job. She used this heater at night when she was home and reported that it heated the room nicely. She carries this portable heater with her just in case she is staying with friends and they don't keep their rooms warm enough for her. i wouldn't do this, but her friends don't seem to have an issue with it. :)

This heater does not show you what the temperature is except when you turn it on. It is important to me to know at all times what the temperature is!!!! Other than that, it’s great! It is just a bit frightening not knowing what your Heater temperature is at all times! I should have read the reviews more Thoroughly!

This heater FAR outperformed one I paid twice as much for! It is lightweight/easy to move where needed. It has GREAT air output - the heat projects far into the room. I love the programming options - especially ECO mode, where you choose a temp you'd like it to maintain and it regulates itself to do so. I monitored it, and sure enough, it reliably turned itself on & off appropriately. I appreciate its safety features too. Terrific heater - for small to medium (up to 250-300 sq ft, easily) spaces.

The first unit was in perfect condition upon arrival but would not oscillate. It made a clicking sound trying to oscillate. Exchanged through Prime for a second unit. It also arrived in perfect condition but with a different color (white) cord. This unit did oscillate but would shut itself off whenever it wanted to. Sometimes every 5 hours, sometimes 8 hours. Also this model lacks heating power for a family room. It's under the claimed capacity. We never even opened or tried the remote. I am not sure who designed or is making this model for Pelonis in china but Pelonis needs to improve R&D and/or change manufacturing companies. I will continue to purchase Pelonis after they improve their products to the same level as before.
