Don't believe the negative reviews - this works very well.
This stuff is very effective but the negative reviews put me off to start with. I guessed from some of the comments that the critics weren't using it correctly so I thought I'd take a chance and give it a go.It's brilliant! You really have to abide by the instructions. It is not a Duckweed killer. If it was you would be saying goodbye to the flora and fauna in your pond. It changes the environment in the pond so that Duckweed can't prosper and so dies out.You need to remove the Duckweed first. That's not too tricky. It requires a hose to blast the weed away from pond plants and push it so you simply corral it and scoop it out with a net.It took me and the missus an hour or so and we got 90%+ out.We added the Duckweed buster and just let nature take it's course. Afterwards, we carried on scooping out any Duckweed we missed until there wasn't any left.A few weeks later and Zero Duckweed now and the pond looks great! Fish and frogs are fine so all in all I'm a happy bunny.Remember, this is not a Duckweed killer - follow the instructions and it'll work for you.

Blaggdon Duck weed control
Didn’t do much with the first time application bottle, decided to repeat with 2nd bottle, it has still not made much difference.

Doesn’t work, false claims
The product has two pictures on the front showing before (with lots of duckweed) and after (with no duckweed) however the product does not remove duckweed itself, it inhibits the growth of new duckweed (apparently). I spoke to Blagdon and they say the product doesn’t do anything unless you physically remove all of the duckweed before application! What’s the point then? If I can safely remove the duckweed from the pond without disturbing the newts etc, then I don’t need a product to do this for me. The problem is you cannot physically remove the duckweed without disturbing the aquatic life in the pond. The product description says: “Use for removing unsightly duckweed covering the surface of your pond.” This is totally untrue, Blagdon have even confirmed this is not true in an email to me! Don’t waste your money, wait until pond life is dormant and carefully remove the duckweed in small amounts.

Worked perfectly.
I have two wildlife ponds in my garden and they were covered in duckweed. Couldn't see any surface water in either. Within six to eight weeks I couldn't find any duckweed in either. Plenty of water life now and frogs, toads and newts seem happy. If they could I'm sure they would smile. Also got dragon flies and damselflies breeding in largest one.

Blagdon treatment for duck weed.
Have used this product to try and combat duck weed, have skimmed so much off my pond and I must admit now it does seem to be slowing it down, it’s been a real problem this year.

Takes time and a little help but finally have some good results
I didn't just dump this stuff into my pond and wait for a miracle to happen. Instead (as per the manufacturer's instructions) I removed most of the duckweed with a net over several weeks whilst adding this product into my pond. There was definitely some duckweed remaining a few weeks ago but now it appears to have completely gone and I don't think that would have happened without this product. I believe this Duckweed Buster is not intended as a duckweed killer rather than it prevents it growing back and I am fairly happy with that. It's taken two and a half months so maybe a bit of patience and reapplication as necessary is required.
