Needed boxes for a challenge coin gift and these worked perfectly on standard coin size. It does come with a coin disc. The wooden is nice color. Feels Ike real wood. The hinges are sturdy. And the felt inside is tight and pressed well. We will continue to use these for challenge coin gifts or awards

I ordered this case for my grandson (who is 7). He has recently shown a considerable interest in coins, but really enjoys handling them. He has quite a collection now of "old" coins, which particularly fascinate him. I wanted to give him an heirloom gold coin that was his great grandfather's "lucky" piece. But this coin is too valuable for him to just carry around with the rest of his collection. This box is about perfect to hold the coin, it's easy to open and close, and the coin is protected in a capsule. The box is attractive enough for a child to keep in his room.My only real complaint is the clear plastic top of the box was lightly scratched in a number of places even though it arrived in a plastic wrap. I saw that another reviewer noticed the same issue. I would not have kept this if I was giving it to a serious adult collector. But it will serve well enough for my grandson.

The color of the wood is pretty. The size is as described the challenge coin fit perfect in it. I’m not happy with the flimsy plastic sheeting for the covering in the frame. It pops out all the time. I think it’s a little pricey for the quality. I don’t think I would recommend this.

I purchased this to put silver dollars in for my grandchildren, the coins were from their late grandfather and brought them to tears when I gifted them to them.

I was somewhat surprised (just me) that the materials, workmanship and operation were A+. Much appreciated.
