Definitely increased stability and adds comfort and functionality. The delay from pushing the remote to the actual shot is intentional as it allows you a fraction of a second to steady your hand (if used in place on the grip). The remote can be removed if using a tripod for an even steadier shot. The light is a fill light for SHORT distances from subject, and it helps with harsh shadows or uneven lighting. Highly recommend.

This product does what it says it will do. However, smartphone cameras have gotten so advanced in the last few years that it really isn't necessary. Adding extra light and steadiness doesn't do anything for the picture that the iPhone wouldn't already do itself. I actually only ordered this product because it looked like the tripod came with it in some of the advertisement pictures. This product does not include a tripod or camera stand. It's just a camera grip. Not terribly useful to me overall, despite being a functional product.

I recently ordered some lenses for my iphone so I wanted to have a more comfortable grip on my phone when taking pictures. This grip feels good in the hand and I do feel like it'll help take better pictures. It holds the phone well and doesn't feel like it would fall out, so it's secure. The light is super bright, probably brighter than my future, but i don't see myself using it much. Nice addition though, i'm sure someone will get use out of it. I noticed that there is a PH-10 grip as well that has 2 extra button for zooming in and our but that didn't seem to work according to video reviews i saw. This grip only has the shutter button and the light button. The shutter feels good and there's no lag when pressing it, always good in my opinion. It does have a thread for a tripod, no where does it say it is a tripod like another reviewer mentioned. It also has a cold shoe if you wanted to add a mic or another light to the grip. Oh and it doubles as a stand too! whether it's horizontally or vertically, it hold your phone well without shaking or moving. Very happy with the grip and being able to charge the detachable shutter is awesome! No need to buy batteries and replace them. Would recommend!

The light is good for product and close object

Got this to help me film content and it was a great additional to the arsenal of electronics. The light is very bright with options and the Bluetooth connected great and worked just as needed.
