Did not work!
I was only able to use them once…at home…just testing out the sound. They would not work after that. I have taken them to 4 events since then and they just would not work no matter what we did. Money wasted!

Pretty good quality when used on a mixing board with controls
You can see from other reviews that there are very mixed results with these microphones -- some good and some bad. I can see why.THE BASICSThe kit comes with two rechargable microphones, a reciever with a 1/4" mono plug, a 1/8" adapter and one charging wire. Also includes two color-coded rings for the mics. The microphones are very lightweight and quality seems better than expected for the price.SETUPSetup is simple. You basically charge the three devices with a USB-C charger, turn on the receiver and the microphones and they automatically pair and work.SOUND QUALITYThe sound quality of these mics is slightly better than you would expect for a $29 pair of wireless mics, HOWEVER, that is only if you can dial in the input or gain control, for example on a mixing board or some amplifiers/powered speakers with input control knobs. It is possible that you could get a good sound with no gain control, but I tested it on a vocal PA system and a mixing board and on both devices I needed to adjust the gain (input) to get a good sound on each device.Once you get the gain dialed in, the microphones have a clear crisp tone, however, because of the lightweight construction they also convey a lot of hand noise through the mic. The mics are quite sensitive and pick up sound quite well at close range (mount to mic). You will hear some hiss and static through the mics quite frequently. The wireless transmission is not perfectly clear. If you do not hold the mic fairly close to your mouth, they become inaudible at a pretty short range (6 inches from mouth). The sound quality also changes somewhat depending how close you are to the receiver. I noticed the sound actually improved as I moved away from the receiver (about 20 feet), and I noticed some minor dropouts in the sound while walking around with the microphone. The device is rated up to 200 feet, but I did not test the range beyond about 30 feet.THE BOTTOM LINEI would not use these microphones as vocal mics for live music performances (singers or band, for example) or in a setting where good sound quality is critical (a wedding or corporate event). They are just not the quality that I would expect in those situations. These wireless mics are a very inexpensive solution for making basic announcements, or for a kids' karaoke setup, for example. And, importantly, if you do not have a gain control or input control on your mixer, amplifier or speaker, you may or may not be able to get a great sound quality out of the mics. If you can dial in the the controls (gain and EQ), for example, on a mixing board or amp, the sound quality is surprisingly good for the price.

Very cheap for the sound quality
I can see why this unit gets a bad review, the build quality is a bit questionable, however, the sound quality is no joke. It's pretty clear and hey it's advertised as "light weight" so you would expect it's made out of material that's light weight. You just be careful not to drop it. I think in terms of a mic for just events and conference, you'd have yourself a good deal.

Doesn’t last long
Worked great for 4 months. The wireless transmitter just stopped working during one of my gigs. I won’t be buying this version again, I’ll have to invest in something that lasts longer.
