Q: I would like to use it with a humidity controller and need to know if it will run after powering up

Don't buy it for your grow tent (or whatever you need dehumidified via automation through a humidity controller). The controller will shut the device off if humidity is too low, but when it needs to turn back on you will have to press the button. I made this mistake and I'm hoping I can get a deal on a Smart-Dehumidifier on Prime Day

Q: what is tank capacity? page heading has 30/850 but specs has 300ml with 30oz being the item weight.

Tank capacity is about 28 ounces

Q: If there is a temporary power outage will this unit automatically start running or will I have to press the on button

I don't really know, but would guess that you'd have to push the on button after the power goes back on. It is a very small unit, so will only help in a very small area.

Q: Can i use it in a 4 x8 pump house?

I have purchased 2 different models to test and this one worked poorly. I do however recommend and purchased 2 Pohl Schmitt Electric Dehumidifiers for Home, 2200 Cubic Feet, and works great!
