These hooks are not the strongest around but they are a great value. These work awesome for smallmouth, they cannot resist. I very rarely get stuck on logs and such, they bounce right over rocks, I guess thats the beauty of the ned-rig.

I was questionable about the quality of these hooks, but took the chance anyway and I am very happy with my purchase perfect for Ned Riggs creature baits, swimbait, and the umbrella rig

The action worked but hook strength was lacking
Hooks were weaker than I would like, going to try another brand, lost a few redfish on these, had a bent hook, rest popped out, have not lost redfish like that on other ned jig heads. I like Z-man, too expensive, or BKK brand from our local discount fishing tackle warehouse, which are ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK.
