Outstanding coffee
I’ve been wanting to try this for years. But I didn’t want to feed into the farming of these these animals. So when I found this brand, I scooped up a pack. They come with a card that recommends you use a burr grinder, and use a French Press preferably. They also give you instructions on how to brew it based on an very old technique.I ground the beans with a burr grinder, and used a Chemex. The results were frankly amazing. The smell of it was so light and smooth. I though I was going to get a very weak coffee, but when I tasted it, I was blown away. The first thing tasted was a fruity pop you get. I have NEVER been able to taste any of the “notes” that are profiled by the descriptions of coffees. I only know if it’s good, great or bad. Here though, I actually tasted some fruitiness. My wife agreed! I got the light roast, and it had a thick but smooth overall character. Really awesome cup of coffee. We were thoroughly please.Definitely check out these guys. They’re doing Kopi Luwak coffee right.Totally recommended.

Very good flavor. Bag supplied enough beans for 8 demitasse cups of brewed coffee
After a holiday dinner, 4 of us decided to try this coffee. We had the dark roast beans and ground them. We brewed one regular size coffee mug worth of coffee using 1/2 of the beans (so estimate two cups per bag). We all enjoyed the flavor with two commenting that they could taste a hint of chocolate. Our 10 year old daughter joined in and tried a couple sips (so, I guess, bring the taster count up to 5 people).Mt wife generally likes to add a creamer to her coffee, but she drank and enjoyed it black. The same thing was true with my mother-in-law. My brother-in-law generally defers to tea over coffee, but he too found it very good and is brining in a second sample to his work to share with a co-worker.I enjoyed it too. The flavor was full and clean. I probably would have leaned to an even darker roast, but that is how I generally like my coffees. Not the least expensive cup of coffee, but if the purchase price is divided into 8 demitasse cups, the cost per cup is the same as an demitasse cup of coffee at a decent restaurant (and probably less expensive than some coffee chains' drinks).Overall, we were pleased and will purchase again.

Hyper hyper smooth coffee….literally smoothest stuff I’ve ever tasted
It wasn’t exactly my favorite cuz i don’t like the taste of coffee but I’d be lying if I said this isn’t the smoothest coffee ive ever tasted in my life. It’s definitely something a classy person would have to drink at least once in their lives. Quality is definitely better than your average coffee pot. It’s very gentle and modest with natural essences, like on the ranks of high grade matcha. I only gave it 4 stars cuz I don’t like the taste of coffee in general.

Exquisite taste and definitely worth a try for coffee lovers and food adventurers.
I am a coffee lover who will settle for the everyday brew, but when I get a chance, I love to try new and wonderful coffees from around the world. For many, drinking coffee that comes from beans that have been "processed" through the digestive system of a small animal sounds foul. This is merely ethnocentricism, which tends to prevent people from experiencing world cultures.I recently bought some beans from Kaya Kopi and made some coffee here at home. I followed the detailed instructions and made it traditional style. It is rich and somewhat sweet and the berry notes really come through. It is a taste experience like no other, and it truly took me back to the moment when I tried Luwak for the first time in Bali, Indonesia. For those seeking a taste experience from another part of the world, I urge you to try this coffee! Furthermore, Kaya Kopi's packaging is professional and minimal and the package came quickly.

Great Coffee
I just prepared the Kaya Kopi coffee. I liked it a lot. I like strong coffee and some coffees when I try to make them strong, they just get bitter not this coffee. The only way I can described it is smooth and silky is that makes sense. At its cost, it will not be my everyday coffee but I will drink it on special days (a few times a month) with friends and family. I am a spirit enthusiast (Whiskey, Rum, Tequila, etc.) and as such I have expensive bottles. I host spirit tasting with friends and family. Now I will add Kaya Kopi coffee on the tasting to introduce it to them. Life is too short to drink regular coffee.

Save your money! Don't buy1
If this is your first foray into Luwak coffee, DO NOT BUY!!!! I have been drinking Luwak Koppi (Luwak coffiee) for well over 25 years. I saw this on Amazon and thought I'd try a new brand. This is without a doubt the poorest quality, worse tasting, over priced Luwak I have ever encountered. The quality is so poor, I honestly doubt it is even Luwak.

Civet coffee seems like a scam
I bought the .88 ounce bag for $19. Barely filled one cup of coffee in a french press. It did not taste in anyway better than other single origin coffees I brew at home. The bag was did not hit me with that delicious fresh bag of coffee smell; that could have been due to the de minimus amount of beans inside. Seller did issue a full refund no questions asked which is why I give this 3 stars. I would not purchase this if you are hesitant. Hard to believe a full 12oz bag of this would be priced near $200.

THEY GIVE YOU 9 GRAMS OF COFFEE.
There is a discrepancy in what they give. They say it 10 grams of coffee that you receive but I used my coffee scale and they gave me 9 grams (check my pictures for proof). I thinks wrong that they are ripping off people. The Coffee: I went ahead and did the proper pour over ratios using a Chemex and a coffee scale. So out of the 9 grams of coffee it yielded 138 mls of coffee which is about 5 us fluid oz.The coffee is very good and has an amazing flavor. Its sweet and mellow. Very easy do drink no need for creamer and sugar. It something I would definitely buy again but I don't think from this buyer. I will contact them to let the know about the discrepancyUpdate: I emailed about this issue and no response yet. Let's see...
