Works right out of the box
This unit was purchased as a replacement for an Accurite that served for many years.I bought it because of the larger number of parameters and no need for internet connection. The instructions were clear and I had the unit synchronised , batteries in, mounted on a pole in my garden in under an half hour. The GUI screen is not crowded with unneeded information and has been delivering accurate data for some days now.A couple days after set up I checked both the thermometer and anemoneter against handheld units and measurements were within prescribed tolerance.Functions as well as higher priced units.

Very good weather station
This is a very good quality weather station. The display is bright, and it was really easy to connect the sensor to the display unit. I had it mounted in 20 minutes with no problems. It works well and the accuracy seems very good. The wind speed is very accurate.

Everything works as described out of the box; lots of features
Everything works as advertised, at least in the week I've had it set up.Wind speed seems right and matches NWS forecasts for the nearby airport. Wind direction is displayed in 45 degree increments (N, NW, W, SW, etc.).In my experience, relative humidity is hard for inexpensive electronics to measure, and if you get within 10 percentage points of reality, you're doing well. This station's outdoor humidity report is within 10 percentage points of the measurement at the nearby airport. Indoor relative humidity is about as much lower as I expect from the higher indoor temperature. The console has calibration adjustments. The manual doesn't contain much information on what calibration does, but presumably it just adds a number you supply to any temperature number received from the sensor and multiplies other readings from the sensor by a number you supply. Any better calibration would probably have to be done within the sensor array, and there is no provision for that.I have not tried the rain sensor, but it is a simple mechanism you can watch work, in which rain drops funnel into a cup that holds .01 inch worth of rain. When full, the weight of the water tips over the cup so it empties and then stands back up again. The electronics count each time the cup tips. The instructions tell you how to test the rain sensor by tipping the sensor unit to make the dry cup tip over and note that the rain display goes up by .01" each time. That works for me.The display is large, clear, and bright, like the pictures in the listing. There are numerous options for use of the various display sections, including three options for displaying the time of day (one displays the year in place of the month and day; this would be useful only temporarily to verify the clock setting). The unit retains its settings across a power loss, but the time of day and minimum/maximum measurements are lost. (The dual battery/external power should help with that). The console gets an update from the sensor array every 16 seconds and the signal strength icon on the console blinks to show you it has received it. A light on the sensor unit also blinks to show that it transmitted the data. My sensor array is 120 feet away and the signal shows as strong.I tried NIMH batteries in the sensor array and the console could not detect any signal, even with the sensor unit right next to the console. With alkaline batteries, the signal is strong. (This is a bit odd, as the light on the sensor unit indicates it is transmitting, and NIMH battery voltage is not that much lower than alkaline) The sensor array has a solar panel and apparently uses its 3 AA batteries only at night. The manual recommends lithium batteries and suggests that the batteries last a year. It is not clear whether that time is for lithium or alkaline (lithium are more expensive and hold more energy than the more usual alkaline). The manual does state that the solar panel does not attempt to charge the batteries. The console takes 3 AAA batteries or a 6 volt external power supply (included). I use the latter. The instructions, including a 28 page user manual booklet, are plentiful and have only a few errors. It is in native quality English.

An incredibly intuitive weather station!
If Mother Nature had a VIP backstage pass, it would be this weather station. This bad boy doesn’t just tell you the temperature - oh no - it spills meteorological tea so accurate, you’ll think it’s psychic. One glance at the LCD screen, and you'll feel like Al Roker's cooler, less-stressed cousin. With its 9-in-1 outdoor sensor, this weather station is the superhero crossover of climate gadgets. It’s packing a rain funnel to let you know when your backyard party is doomed, a wind vane that takes itself so seriously it should have its own LinkedIn page, and a solar panel that’s more eco-friendly than your smuggest neighbor. And let’s not overlook the wind speed anemometer - because nothing says, “I’m a responsible adult,” like yelling, “Hold onto your hats! We’re clocking in at 15 mph!”But the real wizardry? The wireless connectivity that goes up to 328 feet. That’s more range than I’d run even if a bear were chasing me. You can stick this sensor on the far end of your property, or heck, on that obnoxiously tall tree your neighbor swears he’s "maintaining". Installation is so simple that it’ll make you feel like a DIY genius - there’s a mounting pole included, so it’s practically begging to be set up faster than you can say “I don’t need instructions.”And let’s talk about that big, beautiful display - an 8.3” screen that showcases everything from temperature and humidity to moon phases (so you’ll know exactly when to start howling). It even has alarms for when you need to bolt into the living room and announce with dramatic flair, “We have a 3% chance of drizzle!”In summary, if you’re the kind of person who wants your weather updates to come with a dash of luxury, a sprinkle of accuracy, and a side of “take that, weather app,” then this is your moment. Forget relying on your phone when you can have your very own forecasting sidekick sitting proudly in your living room, ready to make you the most insufferably informed person at the next barbecue.

Lousy product, scary website
Looks nice and easy install of parts, but the outdoor temp and humidity is WAY off! A beautiful 71 degree day showed as 54 degrees. I brought the outdoor unit into the same room as the base left overnight, and found the base unit accurate but the outdoor unit was still way off as shown in the photos. I went thru the hard to follow directions to calibrate, but it will go to a max of only 9 degrees to correct, clearly not enough. Quality control for this company must be poor. Their website shows up with threat warnings from Google, but I foolishly went thru the "registration " process, only to get a weird pop-up that said I had won a prize when I pressed. "submit". I hope nothing bad happens. Another red flag is their email address starts off with " haha". Do not buy or go to their website.
