Love the book
It gives you insite and details for people who want to microneedle at home, for professionals as well. I feel like the beauty industry folks (influencers, esti, cosmetic derms, etc) lies to people or withhold important information until after payment and it's important to do your own research. It's important to invest in learning about beauty treatments you wish to have - read up on it, know the pros and cons before committing.

Good info
I've been doing microneedling for some time in the treatment room. This book had a lot of great information even for a seasoned professional. I recommend this for estheticians that are new to the professional and those who have been in the industry.

Everything You Need To Know
Im an esthetician that just started MN and Im seriously glad I finally went for it and purchased this book. There is a lot of medical terminology that some may not be familiar with but its still a great read for those wanting the recent data and science on MN.

Good go-to reference aid
This is a very well written manual for the professional aesthetician: it is easy dip in and out of for fast reference, with sections covering all aspects of base knowledge and treatment, but also a must-read for anyone wanting to gain the necessary information to understand the procedure and its effects on the patient. Highly recommend.

Great information (if you can read it!).
I really looked forward to getting this soft cover book due to so many wonderful reviews about the information it contained, however, the print is so tiny I need to use a magnifying glass to see it (& I don't need glasses, contacts or an eye exam). There is some really good stuff here, it's just so hard to read.

A wealth of information for both pros and serious DIYers
This book was recommended by the esthetician Penn Smith on her youtube channel, and I'm very glad I bought and read it. I'm just a DIYer when it comes to skincare, but I found the book to be extremely informative about the do's and don'ts of microneedling. Because the book is aimed at professionals (doctors and estheticians), some parts of it read like a biochemistry or medical textbook, but there's a great deal of detailed practical information, too. Clearly, the author Dr. Setterfield is an expert, and he's generously shared his wisdom and expertise with all his readers.

This book is a life saver!
I purchased this book because I was very serious about needling at home and I’m not a professional so I wanted to make sure that I really know what I’m doing because it’s so easy to get inspired after watching a couple videos. I am so glad that I did! One thing I learned is that you should never ever need over the filler Bellafill which I have in my temples because you will get granulomas. My temples are one of the main reasons I wanted to start needling so it really saved me from making a huge mistake. If you’re serious about microneedling at home you should really jump the gun with this one. There is so much to know besides putting holes in your skin. I highly recommend this. And i like this it talks about other things which I’m currently testing out besides just microneedling
