Works perfect.
Only complaint is the instructions are a tad lacking, but I figured it out. Like that with the app, can be controlled anywhere in the world. Did get the option with the remote ... for my use, the buttons click is too loud, but i'm using it in a silent space ... I just use the app instead. Seems to be built well and for the price, how could it be wrong for all it can do.

Great switching
This works to automate your household electronics that can be switched on or off. It has the ability to act as a momentary switch like a push button for a garage door or can be use as a latching switch like a wall switch. This is controlled in the free app (eWeLink) you must download and use to set it up. Con: this is a Chinese app. So who knows about your data. I didn’t care too much but others might. This is compatible with Alexa voice commands and you can schedule this to trigger on/off which is why I bought it for my Liftmaster gate. It Works great!

5 volts? yeah but......
Works great, however 5 volts? yeah but....... there are 2 methods of powering the device - attach bare wires or plug in to a micro B port. Trying my available 5 volts on the bare wires produced nothing. 5 volts in the micro port and it worked properly. Could not find a caution anywhere that the bare wire attachment is only for 8 volts or better. From a near return to usual satisfaction with these Sonoff modules.!

Works well
I used one of these to control the PCB of a whole house attic fan and some outdoor lighting. I used another to convert my garage door opener and additional lights. Works well after pairing the app with google home. (As long as you don't mind the mandatory data sharing with a small island in Asia) The new Matter devices will be nice, eliminating the need for two apps. But for now....The wifi signal is received well even in the attic but these are 2.4 ghz and that penetrates walls and ceilings well. I had to turn off 5 ghz in my xfinity router to get these set up. (I actually just gave the 5ghz wifi a different name for the few minutes it took to set these up on the 2.4 then changed it back so both matched. My router had this capability.) Its been a couple of months now and all is working well.

Not a robust product
The 2 units I ordered started out working just fine. One stopped working after about a month. The blue led light barely flickered on the one that stopped. The unit is shorted out, checked with a volt meter. The other unit was used with the same power supply that the failed unit was using and works just fine. Needless to say, the product doesn't seem to be a very robust design. I tried to send it back but Amazon doesn't seem to have that option. Getting product support as far as a replacement doesn't seem to be supported

Work great for hobbyists
I have purchased and installed several of these, and they work great. You will need some modest skill as an electronics hobbyist, but provided you have that you should be satisfied. The app works great, and I have never had a problem using these to remotely turn electronic devices on and off.

Worked great for 6 months then……
Like the title says, worked great for about 6 months then started drawing large amounts of power. So much so that it was killing the battery on the gate it was attached to. Worked great until it didn’t.
