PERFECT radio for a Tesla Model 3!
I put this inside the center console of my Model 3 with the antenna and power connections facing the front of the car and the mic cord facing the rear of the car. I can close the console door on the cable and leave the mic hooked under the dash, or I can drop the whole thing inside the center console and close the door and it's invisible. Totally clean! Check YouTube for directions on accessing switched power, then use a relay to pull power from the battery directly so you won't trip any voltage alarms.

Good allrounder, great value.
Pretty good Radio :)Compact, easy to install & use, very portable,... I use it in the car with a $25 Bingfu Dual Band stubby Ghost Antenna and just had a good clear chat with a guy through a GMRS Repeater more than 35 miles away in hilly & very wooded Pennsylvania. I chose this Radio because I like all controls in the Mic instead of looking down to a radio screen,... One other radio has this feature but it is more expensive and is GMRS ONLY with channels 8-14 locked out where this Anysecu WP-9900 is unlocked.

Good but not great, but it's problems can be overcome
A good not great radio for the price. Easy to mount and small enough that it does not take up valuable space in the car. I measured 17 wats on UHF. Very clumsy to operate especially the volume control. The volume can only be adjusted by going into the programing which is difficult when driving. This volume control problem can be cured by adding an external speaker that has a volume control built into it. But take note all the speakers with volume controls on Amazon that I have tried have an out of speck plug on the end of the wire and will not work with this radio’s speaker jack. If you buy this radio and an external speaker you should also invest in some 3.5 plugs to replace the one that comes with the speaker. A simple soldering job and the radio and speaker will do what they are supposed to do.

great tiny radio!
I replaced my original QYT radio with this one, which screen is on mic make a great fit for concealed install. I actually tear down the machine to see what's in it. The main heatsink is on back side and directly contact to the aluminum body, I add some heat paste there. The output power is indeed 25W! Hit local repeater and they said my audio quality is great!

Hard to Program and No Customer Service
After reading the negative reviews and the comments about programming challenges, I purchased the unit anyway since I assumed being a technical person, I could fight through the programming. >> Poor assumption on my part>>The manual is horrible and worthless. Many YouTube video's vent the same feelings. There is no information on where to download the driver and software to program the unit using the supplied programming USB cable. I was able to find the driver and software, but both my anti-virus programs blocked the downloads due to checksum and other known errors. My router also warned me of both downloads which never happens.I emailed the company twice over three days and heard nothing. The sad part is the concept of this unit (small and everything in the Mic) is fantastic. I was planning on purchasing five additional units. If the company simply provided a readable manual and responded to customers.

I like having ALL the controls on the hand Mic.
I really like this radio. I like the screen and all the controls being on the hand Mic. which allowed the very small size body of the radio to easily tuck away under a seat with no remote screen to mount. Being 25Watts it is able to be used with the cigarette lighter power plug which also makes it easy to swap from one vehicle to another. Anything bigger like a common 50Watt mobile radio would have to be hard wired into the vehicle. I was able to program it with CHIRP and the included programming cable with no issues. Some people complain that there is no external volume control and that they have to go through the menu system. There is a shortcut for that. Click the red (orange?) button on the top to open the squelch, then use the Up and Down buttons to adjust the volume, then click the red button again. It's a couple extra steps but not hard at all but a dedicated knob or buttons for volume would be nicer so I gave it 4 stars there. It came well packaged. The only issue I had was that the first unit I received had the two screws stripped out that hold the SO-239 antenna connector into the body of the radio and was wiggling. I requested a replacement through Amazon and it came very quickly, and didn't have the same issue with the replacement unit so I'm very pleased. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars overall.

Unlocked Radio But Poor Quality
Worked well for 2 days. Pros - unlocked tx up to 520 from 144, so, you can chirp (it's chirp compatible with a driver work-around for Windows 11) anything you want basically. Cons - worked great on GMRS repeaters for a day or so, but after getting really hot, that band pretty much took a dump. Conclusion: great "need radio" in theory, but quality is really poor. Note: this radio is same as QYT version, and almost same as Btech's GMRS version - I did end up sending this back. Perhaps my unit was just defective? I may consider it again in the future if I can verify quality is better!
