I wanted to create sublimated keychains! This product worked well inside the glowforge by cutting specific shapes and sizes. Color took to this material well! And it’s not too thick or heavy but it’s not thin either. I’ve made photo frames, key chains, magnets, etc. very functional and easy to use material!

Got these for a project. Was able to cut perfectly on 20w diode laser. Face the white side down. Don’t forget to peel off the protective plastic before you sublimate. Followed the instructions in the package and it sublimated perfectly. Will definitely buy again.

Bit of a learning curve to cutting these, for some reason I had to slow my 22w laser down by 25% to cut them in one pass, vs the 3mm white board I normally cut with it. No cutting instructions are provided, so you'll have to experiment to find the sweet spot for your laser. Unfortunately that'll result in some material loss (these boards aren't cheap!) but I put a piece of paper down, burned a 12x12 square on super low power to get my sheet perfectly aligned, and then test cut a series of small circles across the bottom of the sheet until I found what went cleanly through. In all I wasted maybe half an inch of my first sheet, which isn't too bad.I also found that with small items (earrings) the white coating was chipping, coming off and ruining my blanks when I tried to remove the film- so I ended up removing the film before cutting. Not ideal as it means more cleaning work, but I wiped my edges down and polished the face of each piece with a wet wipe and any soot/smudges came off fine.Apart from that the quality is good and they sublimate very well. I press them at the same time I use for all of my whiteboard subs- 400F for 50s. Colors come out bright and clear and everything looks great. This material has a high gloss to it, more so than my normal board.

My original review.. showed a negative feedback.. I am deleting that to correct an error on my part.. originally I thought the sublimation paper was not releasing from the board.. for as embarrassing as it is and I should have known better there is a plastic coating over it that needs to be removed before you press it.. so with that I give this a perfect review the stuff is pretty good

Wow, I was impressed by how well these cut on a laser and was able to sublimate on the cut-outs.

It sublimated well, and after a 12 pass cut it cut well too. It's gonna take longer than I planned to make my puzzles, but they should be really cool.

Sublimates fine but the coating flakes up and peels off. It also cuts like crap with a CO2 laser. Tried multiple times cutting from front and back. Biggest issue is the peeling of the sublimation layer. Not usable at all.
