Mercers Furniture Corona Budget Dining Table and 4 Chairs - Pine

Really solid furniture, I'm amazed at how good it is for the price.I have a nice big extending dining table already but the chairs that came with it have seen better days and were coming apart after 7 years of everyday use so I was looking for sturdy replacements. It was actually cheaper for me to buy this set complete with table than it was to buy 4 new chairs. I saw this set had excellent reviews too, and I wasn't disappointed.Took me and my son longer than the hour it said in the instructions to put the 4 chairs together, but that was more down to our inexperience in these things. But they went together really well, with only one screw that wouldn't go all the way in and I got a joiner friend to sort it out for me the next day.I love these chairs, sturdy and very nice looking too.I haven't bothered putting the table together as I don't need it, but, and here's the drawback, the table is tiny. It's about big enough for two really, I would struggle to comfortably dine 4 people around it. If you are looking for an everyday 4 place table then I'd suggest you go for the same company but get the bigger table.Very pleased with the purchase on the whole though.

Needs a modicum of intelligence to assemble as the instructions provided didn't match some of the items supplied. I.e. showed plastic fittings to be used when parts had pocket hole drilled instead.Take your time and you'll end up with a robust and smart looking dining set.

A lovely, budget table set just enough for small spaces and families. It came with one piece broken possibly a transportation issue but the seller replaced it in no time, so customer service is quite decent. Assembly was easy through clear instructions, albeit screwing might require some strength and a screwdriver with a good grip. There is no guideline on the tabletop so you'd better draw with a ruler and a pencil before screwing. Sturdy and rustic design, sitting feels a bit higher than usual (or our old chairs might be used up)Highly recommended it if you like it simple!

Good quality wood, very sturdy table and chairs, quite easy to put together, good instructions, looks lovely when all assembled, very happy with my purchase

My son and I have a number of pieces of furniture from this company. All good quality and affordable furniture and fairly easy to assemble

Not perfect but it is flat pack and cheap, for the price it is in fact very good, the table and chairs are stable and four people could eat from it, just don't expect to fit more than your dinner plates and wine or water glasses and maybe a bottle of wine on the table it is quite small which is why I bought it in the first place. It looks nice in a rustic sort of way be aware it isn't varnished so if you spill red wine on it it'll stain the wood for my needs it's perfect as I live alone, so in short I would recommend it, you will need help putting it together and without a drill with a set of alun/hex type keys, the ones provided for manual use would take you forever to screw everything together and you would need fairly strong hands too, but with a drill with the right attachments it's just an hour or so to putt the whole lot together with one other person

I've assembled alot of Corona furniture and this was by far the easiest . 30 minutes for the table and 15 minutes per chair , job done. For just over £100 it's good quality . The table isn't huge , would just about squeeze 4 people. 1 gripe , if you can call it that is that you have to position the assembled table legs central to the bottom of the table . The diagram says 42mm all round but it's nearer to 45mm . Would have been easier if there was some kind of quide.Just a couple of tips . I always use Gorilla wood glue whenever assembling any sort of wood furniture for extra strength . So liberally apply wood glue to the mortice and tenon joints as well as use the large black screws . Also get yourself a long 4mm allen key and ditch the small one provided . Some of the big black screws can be very tight , so a long allen key makes it alot easier. Also use a ratchet screw driver for fixing the table top and seat base screws. Just makes it a bit easier if you have those tools . See pics I've included.So to conclude . I'd definitely recommend this table , even if your DIY skills are limited it's very easy to put together and looks lovely when assembled.

Its a nice little set for a single person, however its got abdefect as 2 scews wont fit, and its a bitch to build, Its definitely a 2 man job.Was disappointed that its not going to be fully complete due to the 2 screws that dont actually fit.
