Defective, do not buy
Split in two the day I got it after about 15 minutes of light use. The only thing holding the arms together is some press-fit pins meant to hold it together WHILE sliding as the arms move. It's a fundamentally defective design.

Perfect for those hard to reach places.
I keep mine in my fishing vest for when a fish swallows the hook a little too deeply. I can reach farther than any regular hemostat can and get the hook out. Great instrument.
