These wide-tooth, double-hinged alligator clips are seriously a lifesaver. I have a ton of hair that is super thick and it’s usually a struggle to section it off while styling, but these clips make it so easy. They’re strong, sturdy, adn definitely not flimsy or cheap like some others I’ve tried. I also love that they come in a pack of 10 with mixed colors — super cute and practical. If you have a lot of hair like me, (these ae absolutely essential. I just love them!

I originally bought this 10-pack just for the purple clips (they were so cute 😍), but I was honestly surprised by how strong, reliable, and long-lasting they turned out to be. I’ve used them for braiding, blow-drying, flat ironing, and even sectioning curly hair—and they never slip, snag, or snap.The double-hinged design is brilliant. This is my second purchase of these hair clips. My hair is quite curly (3c/4a) and thick. After shampooing / conditioning/ deep conditioning and applying styling products, i use the clips to lift the curls near the scalp (so the curls sections dry a bit lifted). I use the clips to lift the weight of my hair so that the curls don't lose their bounce while drying. I prefer these clips because I haven't had even 1 with a burr! As "curly girls" know, burrs or inferior quality in clips can really snag and tear curls ,(creating frizz or a loss of the curl cast). In 6 months of using these, I still have yet to have one break! Other clips I find are weak at v the hinges, causing the clips to break (and fly across the room). As curls dry, of course they take on a life of their own, but whether air drying or diffusing, the strands somehow don't get wound around the clip.. [ I insert w keeping 1/2 inch of the clip unused, the part that gets pinched, which helps greatly.] Best of all, though is no snags, no burrs in the plastic "teeth" -- the clips slide across the scalp easily, no snagging! And ya gotta love the hinges: the plastic holds the hinge/ rivets in place. I've paid much more for clips, only to have 1 or 2 a week break at the hinge. They also come in handy to hold back the curls/ ringlets while washing my face, etc. Thanks~~

Love the colors and works well I have thick corse 4C hair and it holds it down. Well I’m stalling my hair I have medium shoulder length hair it doesn’t pull on my hair

Oh my goodness I absolutely love these. If you have long hair or even short hair, these are called gator clips they will not slip out of your hair. They hold it very well whether your hair is thick or thin. I use them often. Absolutely love them , if you’re wanting to get a curly look or even straighten your hair they are perfect to keep the parts of your hair that you’re not working on away from the side you are working on …definitely five stars!!!

Great little clips for the price! They hold sturdy, in both my super fine hair and my daughter’s thick hair! Makes blow drying and styling hair so much easier and quicker!

These clips are not pretty but they def do the job.1) The "alligator" clip makes them non-slip. For anyone with thin, thick, slick, or whatever kind of textured hair, it will help hold them in.2) They are super sturdy. Even after my dog did his best to destroy one (thank goodness I got it away from him before he swallowed it!), it looked completely unharmed. This is to say, just using them on a day to day basis, they aren't going to fall apart.3) They open wide. (I'm posting a pic showing one open next to a dollar bill so you can see just how wide.) So back to the thick hair--you've got the tank equivalent of a clip to hold large sections of your hair.The one downside to these is if you want to keep everything totally smooth, the alligator clip will leave crimps.
