Cheap disposable tool that works
Generic cheap chain tool, fairly certain these all come from the same factory at wildly different prices. I’ve used this to press out and rivet a master link. When pressing out you have to use an angle grinder to grind down the head of the rivet or at best case you’re really going to wear out the tool much faster and more likely you’ll break it before it breaks your chain. For flaring the rivets it works. You have to thread the handle in or the clamp will bend. These things last two or 3 uses before they break. That’s the nature of these cheap chain tools. 3 uses is like 60,000-90,000 miles for me though so much better than spending 4-5x as much for a tool that’ll last me 6-10 years and likely be lost.

Poor quality and material is softer than the drive chain.
At first, the material looks like it will do the job it was designed for. After properly setting it up to break the chain I need to replace, the break tip flared out and I had to use a longer wrench to make it work and push the pin through. Since the tip of the pin was already flared, I couldn't change it out and had to grind it down so that I can disassemble it, not to mention the spring getting stuck inside and could not remove it. After struggling with the chain breaker set up, I switched it over to flare out the pins on the new chain. I thought it was holding up to the amount of torque I was giving it to see a decent amount of flaring but I notced that the body of the tool was bent. Though I can still use it to some degree, I would not recommend this tool to anyone. Would give it 0 stars for its overall rating if it was an option. Yes, it was easy to use and set up, not to mention versatile because it's 2 tools in 1 but like I said, material is way too soft for it's intended purpose.

It works but..
This tool works on chain. But it is a bit flimsy like the other people say. I give it a 4 stars because it does work to break and rivets motorcycle chain. I used it on 525 chain. The pin is spread out and needs hammering to get it out of the tube of the riveter.

The ultimate
This was the way a chain breaker was supposed to act it is well made it is well worth the money it covers various different sizes it's easy to use it isn't too damn large and it looks pretty sick inside the carrying case. Those other chain breakers are just a waste of time just get this to start off with and you'll never need another one this actually helps seal the rivets as well.

works
used this to rivot my chain onto my fz09 and my sv650. I broke a pin the first time but there are more in the kit. I'll get many more uses out of this inexpensive breaker/riveter

Piece of rubbish
Was traveling and needed to work on my sister’s bike. Pins bent, broke, and shattered. Ended up just angle grinding the whole chain off. Got around to putting on the new chain and the rivet tool flattened out, getting stuck in the main rod. To note, without proper flattening of the rivets. Tossed the whole set in the rubbish bin.

Cheap junk EDIT but great customer service
Edit: although the tool broke first use and I was past my return window, the seller reached out to me and provided a full refund. So the customer service was fantastic.Bought to use on my motorcycle chain. Bent the main holder and the river top on first side of the master link. Bought it in advance of my project. Used it, bent on use, found out return window closed 2 days ago.Don't waste your money.
