Not my favorite
This is just an average serum for me. My hair wasn’t left silky and frizz free. It was softer yes but it did nothing for frizzy hair. I wouldn’t get again.

Happy with Results
The winter months are really hard on my hair and skin. After years of not taking very good care of my hair, I decided to finally start doing something about it. I've started using better products to wash my hair, but the damage had already been done. The frizz from damaged hair was driving me crazy, so I ordered this product. This frizz control serum is excellent. It comes in a bottle containing just over 3 ozs of product and features a pump-style top. It's thin like oil and a little goes a long way. It has a very pleasant, clean scent that lingers in the hair throughout the day.I pump the product into my hand twice, rub my hands together, and rub it over the bottom half of my damp hair. Using the product this way results in my hair feeling super smooth as it dries with no greasy appearance. I have less frizz issues and I love the way my hair feels.Because a little goes a long way, this bottle will last a long time. I'm really pleased with the results I'm having with this product and appreciate how much healthier my hair looks and feels.

Similar to Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum
This product is similar to It's A 10 and Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. I have both. They work about the same as this product. You don't need a lot of product. The amount needed, depends on length and thickness of hair. I have fine, thin hair. Sometimes I keep it above the shoulder, and sometimes it's half way down my back. I often go from one length to the other. For hair above the shoulders, I use one squirt. For long hair, I use just over a dime size amount of serum in my palm. I rub my hands together and run my fingers through the shaft of my damp hair (remove as much water as possible with towel), everywhere EXCEPT for the roots. If you get it on the root area, it can make your hair look and feel kinda greasy and heavy. This can happen to the rest of your hair, too, if you use too much product on the hair shaft. I have added too much to my hair before, and had to rewash it because it looked and felt so greasy. I suggest not adding a lot to the underside of the hair either, being careful to stay away from the scalp, and at least an inch or so of root hair. It will feel greasy, like you haven't washed your hair in days. I can't emphasize enough- stay away from the roots, up to at least an inch out. This is the case with most brands of this type of hair serum. They all work similarly, and are mainly for the hair shaft. You won't get the same results by applying this product, and simply letting your hair air dry. This product works best with a hair dryer and round brush, and/or flat iron. If you're going to keep and style curly hair, you still need to apply a mousse or gel product before drying your curls. This product won't give the look you're looking for, that gel or mousse provides. It helps maintain frizz to give better overall look for curls. But, on it's own, this serum can't give you defined curls that mousse or gel does. Just apply this serum, then apply the mousse or gel as you would normally. Now, if you're straightening your hair, this product is really all you need, prior to drying. Though, there's always other products we can buy, to use in conjunction. This stuff helps maintain frizz and makes hair look more shiny and conditioned. There's a huge difference in just blow drying and flat ironing your hair without adding any product, verses doing it after you've applied the serum. Serums can make straight hair look sleek and shiny, instead of having straight hair that looks fat and fluffy, and a bit untamed. This stuff is good for frizz control and flyaway hair. I hope this helps. 😊

My ultra dry and frizzy hair looks better
My hair is so dry and frizzy that no shampoo or conditioner has made it look better in years. I usually have it covered up by a wig or a ball cap or a hat. When wearing a hat, some of my hair shows and I am embarrassed by it. I am not expecting miracles but it would help to have my hair a bit smoother to reduce flyaways and make it easier to comb through. It usually hurts so bad to comb I could cry. After washing my hair, I pumped several pumps of this serum into my hands and ran them through my hair. The directions say 2-3 pumps but I used about six for mid-length hair. The product smells very pleasant. I let my hair dry naturally and it does look and feel much better, and I am able to comb through it without pain. Again, not a miracle, but I know that’s not possible. I will keep using this because of the results I’ve seen so far.

Better for straight styles
The first time I tried this I worked it into my damp curls to let my hair air dry. I required more than recommended on the box just doing the lengths because my hair is long and thick. I thought the product felt nice on my skin & smelled pleasant. To me the odor reminded me of cocoa butter oil. After letting my hair dry, I didn’t notice much at all except my curls weren’t as bouncy or shiny as normal, as when I just use a leave in conditioner. I didn’t see any improvement in frizz, but it did feel less tangly underneath. The next time I used it was before a blow out. This was a definite improvement. The shine was much better and it did tame flyaways. I imagine using it with a flatiron would be much the same. The heat seems to improve the product performance, at least on thick curly hair. As a bonus, it is easily absorbed into the skin so it doesn’t leave your hands feeling greasy at all. All in all not a bad product.
