I absolutely love these things! I can throw them my pocket unlike my cumbersome tubing expander that I have used for years. They will even work in your 1/4" impact if you do not have your drill handy.

Depth of expansion is too shallow.
Used this tool to swag a 3/8” and a 3/4” copper hvac line. The expansion was irregular, larger at the end. The 3/8” connection later leaked, had to be cut out and replaced with a sleeve.
