Best quilting ruler I've used.
This ruler works with the rotary cutter made by the same company. The cutter has a guide that fits in a groove on the ruler that keeps the cutter from slipping and also protects your fingers. I love that the ruler has open squares so you can see where the fabric lies. It also has 1/4 inch marks every inch or so that helps with accuracy.

Easy Safe and Accurate
I got the TrueCut rotary cutter in a promo offer from Grace and wanted to try it with some of their rulers. I chose the 6x24 ruler because this is the size I use to cut long strips of fabric. The ruler is clear and has good markings that are easy to see. It works very well when used with the Trucut rotary cutter. I added the True Grips to the ruller to help hold it in place. The ruler has holes in it also so you can hold the fabric in place better. The cutter has a groove on it that fits on the edges of the cutting so the cutter stays next to the ruler and the cut is precise. The price of the rulers are reasonable as well.

Ruler is amazing in combination with the rotary tool
This is a unique ruler in that the companion rotary cutter rides on a rail that keeps the blade from veering off. No way to get crooked lines with this ruler and rotary combo. The only thing i wish the manufacturer made was one that was longer. They once had a different version made out of metal that had a handle but I believe they discontinued it however I don’t know if that ruler guide had a rail. I have not seen anything out there similar except fiskars version but that one looks a bit cheap to me. There may be a more expensive contraption out there that is more heavy duty but I have not found it. Since I need to cut fabric longer than 24 inches I plan on buying two of these rulers and joining them together somehow by using some kind of aluminum extrusion or straight edge and gluing it or screwing it to the ruler that way I have a continuous ruler that I can use to cut my longer fabrics. Pretty unique tool.

Awesome cutting system!
This system is amazing. The TrueCut ruler when used with the My Comfort rotary cutter (both made by The Grace Company) makes cutting fabric straight a breeze. The ruler is not made from that acrylic that always manages to get damaged (corners always chipping off). It is a bit flexible so it won't break or chip like acrylic rulers do. I like that the markings are written in a dark contrasting color and are large enough to see clearly. I was able to cut a perfectly straight piece of fabric my first time using it. I have always had issues when using rotary cutters with the blade wandering away from the straight edge or ruler no matter how hard I tried to keep it flush against it. I only wish I found this system earlier. It would have saved me a lot of time and money. Also shipped fast and arrived early.

Make Great Cuts
Sturdy, easy to use for layouts. Cut with confidence. Use the Grace comfort cutter for perfect cuts through material. There is a small ridge on the edge of the guide that the Grace comfort cutter rides on to create perfect cuts.

Just ok. Not gushing about it.
Well as other reviewers have pointed out, the numbers are a bit annoying in that they aren't printed both ways but it's easy to get over that. What I don't like is how hard the actual color of ink they used for the grid lines is to read. It's a lighter bluish color, not black so it makes it difficult on most fabrics to see the lines, especially with all the little square holes in it. The edge is raised for the cutter and this makes lining up for measures a little annoying as well. Very difficult to use sticky dots because of the holes in it too so sliding can happen.I can't say that I hate it but I don't love it either. I much more prefer my Creative Grids ruler. I do use it and it does help with straighter cuts, no complaints there. It is a good investment for new rotary cutter users or for those with maybe arthritis or issues that cause shakiness and make a traditional rotary cutter difficult to use. For anyone who does just fine with a regular rotary cutter, this system is not really that necessary.
