After looking at lots of options, I got this remote for my elderly grandparent who has trouble seeing, lacks sensitivity in their fingertips, and is not familiar with smarts tvs or technology at allThe remote is perfect for them because it is simple, intuitive, and covers everything necessary for navigating around on modern smart tvs without being overly complex which would confuse themThe pros are:- Navigation is much more intuitive for them with the way the arrow directional buttons are laid out- The power button is at the top & is a different color so they can easily find it- The volume and channel have separate buttons for up and down. (On normal remotes they’d often be one large button and they would often have issues with selecting the correct one)- Has the dash button which is needed for entering and changing to modern channels today- Has the input (source) button which is needed to change between the Roku and live TVCons:- The only con is that it would be nice if the buttons were more raised, but this was expected as I could see in the photos they were lack this and was probably necessary since it’s waterproofAll in all, excellent remote that hits everything needed for an elderly person to use modern tvs without getting frustrated or confused

Button’s are a pain in the fingers they need to be easier to press. I have arthritis and it can be painful.

Purchased for my 90 father because it’s bigger than our current remotes. This remote does NOT work with Samsung Smart TVs. Also I had sore thumbs after trying to get it to work the buttons are that hard to push! I will say their technical support knew right away that it wasn’t going to work with our tvs.

This is an excellent learning remote and learns codes for remotes that have no preprogrammed options for replacement remotes I use this for a remote that does not have a remote code listed with any other remotes and what was able to custom program it to use functions from multiple remotes so I can use one remote to cover all the functions I need to use from multiple remotes programmed all into one remote and every key on this remote is programmable in the learning remote mode. It has an excellent learning remote procedure that works perfectly I give this remote 10 Stars 🤗 you can even drop this remote in a full tub of water or sink it's completely waterproof.

I bought this crappy remote for my mother, 85....extra big buttons. One would expect you don't have to be a finger force athlete to use this thing ! But its the case, pressing the buttons is really a hard job to do.Do NOT recommend this product AT ALL.

Bought this for my 81 y/o mother because the remote had larger & more visible buttons. She has severe arthritis in her hands/fingers & was unable to press the remote buttons. Something I didn’t consider until she tried it. Will be returning it & look for something easier for her to see & use.
