Great sensor
Bought this to remove the issue of the landing light being left on by the children and wasting energy. Perfect, does exactly what I wanted it to. Motion detection is very good, I have one on a sloped ceiling above the stairs leading to the top landing and one on a flat ceiling of the top landing and they pick you up as soon as you walk onto the landing and stairs. I have set the timer to the shortest setting as you tend to use the landing to get to another room. Even if you stay on the landing for some time the sensor picks up your movements and keeps the light on. Very easy to install but the terminals are a little on the small side. They’ve been installed for a couple of months and had no issues to date. A great sensor for the price.

Works Extremely Well
I bought two of these. One for a downstairs toilet and one for a lobby area between my house and the garage. I did so simply to make things a bit easier in daily life but mostly because my twin grandchildren are too small to reach the switches and this helps them.Being a granddad comes with being soft I guess.Anyway, what I see is two very neat looking and easy to install sensors. Three terminals only - no earth - and no fancy setting up on WiFi. Basically I took the supply from the switch to the neutral and live-in and then fed the light from the live-out and back to the common neutral. In use this is super sensitive and switches on the lights before the door to the room is open more than a couple of inches. My grandchildren love this. There arre two settings for time and sensitivity which means you can set up as required. Sensitivity I set 50% and left it there but the time I initially set for maximum. This on one unit meant that turning off became a bit hit and miss so I set both to 50% on the timer as well. Lasts a few minutes if no movement is noted. If you are in the room then the sensitivity is such that even the slightest adjustment of your body keeps them on.Build quality looks pretty good and the style fits in pretty much anywhere. The spring retaining levers are just like the type you get on a downlight meaning you can remove this if you need to easily but fitted it's nice and secure.Overall an excellent bit of kit.

Very useful product
This item arrived well packaged and before date given.Fitting was relatively simple {if you follow the instructions), I didn't!!!!After cuttting out the 60mm hole I tried to push the sensor through the hole complete with retaining springs. (What a DICK)The springs are opened out and pushed through FIRST!I used it to trigger a Time Controlled Extractor Fan above the Toilet. The Sensor came with the "SUN" setting at MAX. and "TIME" at MIN.This seems to suit my installation perfectly. With the "Time" set at MIN. it triggers my Extractor Fan and the run time is controlled by the Extractor Fan circuit. My toilet is in a room which also houses a washing machine so I've put a piece of tape over the Sensor so that it only operates if youapproach the toilet. Only just fitted so I can't comment on reliability but at the moment working PERFECTLY!ADVICE:- DO NOT USE THIS UNIT FOR AN INDUCTIVE LOAD. i.e. DO NOT USE THE FAN MOTOR AS THE LOAD.However, using it just as the trigger should be OK.

Works but poor quality
Good:It worksDecent instructions for wiring. Not good:1. Poor quality plastics used in construction. One of the two springs (on one of the three I bought) snapped its housing upon fitting.2. Size of hole it suggests is too tight for the unit.3. It has two small adjustable dials for length of 'on' time and lux required to switch on the connected light but there are no graduations to help you set it... leaving trial and error to get it right.

Amazing little devices. Love them.
They are fab!! Very well made and sturdy and so easy to wire. I'd highly recommend them to anybody who wants to install in a safety environment so you won't fall for example in a dark hallway - ideal for elderly. They are great with LED ingressed lights and they make my apartment look like a smart house turning on and off lights haha love it!

Bitter disappointment
First installed and wow, it worked great, while finishing off the decorating I suddenly saw that the light was coming on and off randomly and now after a solid 4 weeks use it is pretty much constantly going on and off, I am very disappointed

Works as an occupancy sensor
This works well I use it for the office light, the sensor is so sensitive I spend about 6 hours in the office sometime being still starring into space for 20 mins at a time like you do and the light has never gone off so it's as good as the ones that cost 3 times as much. This is not like the pir's you get already attached to cheap outside lights with those you have to wave your arms about with this you only have to blink.

Does the job well
This just works. It looks simple and understated. I have it in the soffit of my porch and it could not work better. It can be adjusted so it doesn't pick up passers by and I'm really happy with it. I hope it keeps going. My porch is south facing but the sensor is not in direct sunlight. I hope it copes with the heat of summer. We'll see.
